The Simpsons: Tapped Out

They do NOT take any GOO from your friends. If your gremlin gets through 4 hours without being popped, you get 4 GOO. If your friend pops the gremlin, he gets 2 GOO and you get two GOO.

I don’t think I ever really noticed the ticket exchange but doing the math, exchanging tickets at the best rate works to the same as just having your people on the mainland. So it seems like the best idea at this point is for me to put everyone back in my regular Springfield and just exchange the tickets every time I have 30,000, which will probably take months if it’s just going to be based on the buildings and the random people wandering around.

I can’t believe that building is going to be done in a few hours and I just had to put 20 people in jail for 24 hours as part of that smoking ban quest.

I’m hoping I’m not going to need them too much to get started.

I haven’t done the math myself but you may be right. I ended up putting Skinner back into Springfield because he only has a 1/2 hour job there and I generally put people on 1 hour jobs unless it’s 8 or 12 hours for long stretched.

Just Homer it looks like.

Seems like you can’t do any haunting in anyones town until they start.

OK, so I am visiting everyone on my friend list that has started the game. You can see how many “Goo”'s they have when you look at your friends towns from above.

Anyway, once a day, I’ll visit everyone and haunt you, pop ghosts, and drop off at least one goblin per town(unless I run out).

Hopefully, everyone here has friennded each other and we can work together to get all the items.

Note: Get the daily item that goes in the Simpsons’ attic. Apparently, on Sunday, there will be a trivia question and you have to get it right to get a bonus item.

I’ll post the answer here if I hear it first.

I’m in and going to be doing like Mahaloth too. If anyone here isn’t friends with me (I’m NAF1138 on origin too) fell free to add me.

How do you get the daily item. I saw it, but clicking on it doesn’t do anything.
Also, how do you haunt someone? I’ve already popped other people’s ghosts and dropped off goblins* but I don’t know how to haunt people. I did come back to find my almost my entire town haunted at once, but I think something triggered that because there was some dialogue beforehand (though each ‘haunting’ was still labeled as being from one of you).

*Those goblins are hard to catch since each time you miss it you have to clear the thing you click on by accident…kinda like catching the snakes, but these move faster.

Oh, also, I see “trick or treat…16h” at the top for most/all of the kids, but it’s not yellow. I assume that’s going to be a quest at some point, right? I’m not sure why it’s at the top unless they just assume that if they put it where it belongs people aren’t going to see it at the bottom.

Of course with 20+ people locked up in jail I’m sure I have a handful of quests that aren’t getting kicked off yet.

I’m not sure. I clicked on the attic and popped a ghost and the fire ring came out. I didn’t really catch how it happened.

You haunt a building by clicking the different ghost shape on someone’s building.

Yeah, they put the whacking day tasks up top too.

Who has Haloween goo-earning activities?

I only saw Bart and Lisa.

Cool, and it doens’t matter if people squish your goblins as long as we are all dropping them on each other.

Squish away and drop away and it should all more or less work out.

I have Martin and Milhouse both trick or treating right now. I have seen Mr Burns doing Halloweeny things in other Springfields.

Those gremlins are really fast.

I haven’t started much of it yet. Please tell me that there’s an AMC Gremlin joke in there. (Hey, there was one in “Terror at 5 1/2 Feet” so it’d actually be backed up by the show.)

There is one, right when the gremlins get introduced in the quest dialouge.

Yep, I have Homer, Marge, Burns, Bart, Lisa, Milhouse, Martin & Nelson doing goo-earning tasks at the moment. Homer, Marge & Burns have 12h tasks (Homer also a 24h one, don’t know if that one’s only for the quest though) & the kids 16h tasks

I’m also visiting everyone’s towns and popping ghosts and leaving gremlins. Hope it helps!

Can any of you more experienced players help me figure out which premium items make sense to buy, to help either with the Halloween event (more ghosts) or with the game overall (more XP or characters/skins)? I have 140 donuts and I’m willing to drop a few bucks on the game, but not a ton.

My characters are completely ignoring roads now and wandering all over the damn place. It’s getting harder to find them!

I too will be doing as Mahaloth.

A couple of items of note. A few of the haunted buildings have unique animations. Krusty Burger and the prison for instance.

Also, haunting a building triggers its “in use” animation. So if you want to see the bedsheets come out of Calmwood, or the flag fly at Ft. Sensible, haunt it. El Chemistri looks like its undergoing a full-on poltergeist assault when haunted.

ditto. “donspadeoa”

Hey guys, a friend of mine and his son have recently started playing and they could use some more neighbors. If you could add them to your list, they would really appreciate it. Their user names are gritngile181 and reneefraatz. Thanks.
