I did notice that I had trouble adding friends this morning and that I am having no problem now.
Upper right corner: click on the little ghost to get a drop-down>click on lowest option which is a greyed out bomb with a ghost face.
I noticed that unlike collecting clicking on buildings on other Springfields and running, if you click on Ghosts in other springfields and run before you collect all the GOO you don’t get it. So now it’s back to taking forever to get through all of my friends.
I also found what I think is a glitch. If I haunt three buildings and then pop five ghosts and then drop some gremlins (while I’m waiting for the GOO to automatically collect itself) and then the “Thanks Neighboreeno” box pops up I can’t click the collect button until the screen stops chasing the gremlin around.
We just passed 1 billion. I thought we got our first prize at 1,000,000,000 and another after every billion. No prize yet, though. 
Is it me, or is this Halloween going to be insanely easy compared to whacking day? I have ~1000 in two days. I think it only takes 5000 to get the final prize.

I didn’t think so, but while tapping ghosts today suddenly I saw the 3rd item popping out the same way GOO does. And afterwards the 3rd item was lit up.
Yeah, somehow all of a sudden I had the second and third attic item, so I guess I’m aces there.
How about the ghost vacuum now? I didn’t manage to see how to use that.

When you press the ghost icon in the corner the vacuum icon will be highlighted, then you drag it around with your finger. I didn’t have enough ghosts around to give it a fair try yet.
The ghost vacuum is pretty pointless IMO. Kind of a letdown.
I’m not sure about it, was just sharing my reasoning. Think we’ll get there soon enough, it’s above 1,5 billion now right? Pretty crazy imho, I have about 1300? How many people are playing this game?!
Yeah, but I suppose it will help out when you’re using a graveyard or mausoleum and grab all the ghosts at once.

Here’s something I just plain don’t get: this update has only been out for a couple days, and I already see one of my friended Springfields has something like 14,000 GOO. Even with the max amount of friends, that’s really no more than 1,000 GOO a day, tops.
How on earth do some people accumulate GOO/candy/hearts/whatever at like 5 times the rate of the average player?
I’ve wondered that as well, I always assume they’re using donuts to speed things along.
If you pay for the next item, it ups your goo to that level(at least that is how it worked with snakes).
They just pay a lot of money to advance.
