My app keeps crashing! I haven’t been able to play since yesterday. I tried to delete and reinstall the app but the same thing happens. It loads until the “tap to login” screen then crashes. Any help?

Can someone verify what I mentioned before.

Before Halloween, you could click on three things and then exit back out of another Springfield and you’d still get it. Now you actually have to collect the GOO (or wait for it to collect automatically). I’ve found that if you just tap 5 ghosts and back out, you don’t get the GOO. It makes working my way through all my friends take quite a while.

I read on one of the sites about the game that after you get the individual prizes goo starts turning into donuts at a rate of 1 donut x 2,000 goo. Don’t know it that is verified yet though.

It has to be part 14. She researches a lot of things in the game, but it’s not till part 14 (after the Freak Show) where you can tap Mr. Burns for the free donuts. You might just be at the part where she’s researching the freak show :)

I also drew dicks with eggs. I tried to write “flutes rule” on the lawn of someone who had “J. Tull” spelled out in bushes, but failed miserably.

Hey, so I just (a day or so ago) noticed something that I thought I would share. You can click on more than 5 ghosts per town. If on your last ghost you pop another ghost (or two if you are really fast) before the final ghost spits out its prize, you get the extra goo. I have gotten up to 8 ghosts (rarely) but am pretty consistently getting 6-7 ghosts per town now.

Give it a try. I mostly pop the last 2 at the same time and try to pick up a third immediately.

I noticed this too. Now I am trying to take full advantage. It works pretty well if you have the patience to wait for three in the same screen. That is not always easy in some of these towns.

I just noticed I wasn’t in the list.

I have Homer running four different quest lines right now. I don’t think they thought this out very well. I also wish more characters had GOO tasks. I dumped a bunch on non-GOO characters in Krustyland so that I can finally build the Tooth Chipper. Then that will be done.

I was saving up my money to build the Wig Sphere, but then they announced the Halloween update. So far, I haven’t really had to spend any money. Do you think it’s safe to build my precious Sun Sphere? I have over a million banked. On the other hand, the prices usually decrease with the next level update, maybe I will just wait…

That’s what I said above. There was nothing going on for a while then they had this smoking ban one and Halloween practically at the same time. I think the smoking ban thing started about a week before Halloween and I rushed through it as fast as I could, but I’m still stuck on it. They should have held off on it until next month or not have involved Homer in it so heavily. It’s a PITA that Halloween is giving him so many 12 and 24 hour jobs and the Smoking Ban Quest is giving him a ton of 24 hour jobs as well. I’m trying to sort of go back and forth with them, but I’m dedicating more time to Halloween.

As for more characters having GOO tasks, I think they need to be shorter as well. If I’m going to tie up a character for 16 hours, they should be getting a ton of GOO. How about One Hour/2 GOO, 4 Hour/5 Goo, 24 Hour/20 GOO.
Personally, I haven’t even bothered with using the characters for GOO. Is it worth it? It doesn’t seem like it would be.

I just let Homer do the 9th part of the smoking one. I looked it up and there are 11 parts. I think I might just finish it and be done. It drives me crazy to have open tasks pending.

The 16 hour tasks may as well be 24 hour tasks. They end at awkward times every other day, so it really ends up being a once a day thing. I agree that there should be shorter GOO tasks. I don’t know if they are worth it, but it is effectively passive GOO gathering, so I do it. There are so few with the tasks that I figure I might as well. Some of the animations are really well done.

I am disappointed that Snorky functions more like a decoration than a character. I think he had good task potential.

This is the first update since Whacking Day that I have been tempted to spend some money on donuts. There are some really neat things that I covet.

I’ve been getting more then 5 ghosts lately. I was pretty sure that it had happened a few times but then someone mentioned it up thread so now I know it’s not just in my head. What I’ve been doing is get the first four then go find a place where there’s two or three of them so I can tap them quickly.
Also, one time I actually saw the counter go to -1/5.

And I’m going to have to go through and add the rest of you. I’ve been putting it off because it takes so long to get through the 22(?) friends that I have right now, especially during Halloween when I have to wait for the GOO to collect before moving on. I’m guessing that’s at least a 15 minute project, but today I noticed that I collected something like 200 GOO from those people. I don’t know how, but when I started I had less then three thousand (because I didn’t have the UFO) and when I was done I was at 3200. So I’ll add everyone else and just get through as many of you as I can each night.

Also, here’s a tip I found for myself. I try to set gremlins out as late as I can. No point in putting them in someone’s Springfield if you know they’re going to just click on them in 10 seconds. For example, I know one of my co-workers goes to bed at 10pm so I can go to his town at 11pm and set 10 gremlins out and they’ll have the run of the town until he wakes up in the morning. That’s a lot of GOO. He also read somewhere (and I haven’t verified it myself) that they don’t ‘take’ GOO from the city you leave it in, but you get X (4?) GOO per hour that they are in a city. On the one hand, it doesn’t make sense, because then there’s no point it cleaning them up, I might as well let them keep running around, OTOH, I’ve never seen them ‘take’ GOO or hurt me in any way.
