I thought the game told me that you get 4 GOO when they aren’t tapped on for 4 hours, but if you tap them, the ‘tapper’ gets 2 GOO and the ‘releaser’ gets 2 GOO. As far as I have seen, they don’t actually steal GOO.
Yeah, they don’t steal goo, but they leave the town after 4 hours. So if you don’t click on them you don’t get any goo, but they don’t hurt you. You only get 4 goo per gremlin though.
When will they post the next THOH question??? Hey there. I know you’re new here. But you’ve come in here seven times now in the last three days to ask us to add you in the game. Please, stop. Those of us who are playing this game are adding people from the player lists - which you are now on. Continuing to pester us to add you is not going to win you any friends here. If this message board has not supplied you with a sufficient number of Simpsons Tapped Out buddies to meet your needs, then I suggest you look elsewhere.
Also, there was only one trivia question as far as any of us know.
I just got an update about an hour ago. This seems to have killed the “get extra ghosts with quick tapping” that was pointed out earlier. The places in my town that were haunted now say they were haunted by ghosts as opposed to by username, but I assume that it was because they were haunted before the update and the player didn’t have the update.
I sometimes see “Haunted by Ghosts” when I’m tapping already haunted places in other towns (pre update).
According to the message board if you tap already haunted buildings you get double goo but screw the other guy out of any he would get. So tapping on a haunted building in someone’s else’s town is unneighborly.
I assumed the “Haunted by Ghosts” was some sort of NPC haunting; I had several buildings haunted that way before I started collecting GOO. But yes, I always try to haunt un-haunted buildings whenever possible.
Yesterday, it was letting me place gremlins in excess of the number I owned; the gremlin count in the lower left would go to negative numbers, then reset to zero at the next town. No idea if it was costing me GOO or something.
Nah - if you’ve found gremlins in the town you’re in, it doesn’t increment the counter until you tap on them or when they auto-collect. But it’ll let you deploy them immediately.

Did anyone buy the ray gun for the flying saucer floating over Springfid? What’s that about? 150 donuts is pretty steep.
You get either King or Kodos with it, apparently. 150 donuts is too rich for me to find out first hand.
Okay, why is every single new quest line all about Homer? I only have one Homer, you guys! But the Dolphin King is pretty adorable, so I’ll put up with it.
I’m up to about 200 donuts and I’m trying to decide what to add to my little town.
I can’t scroll down far enough on my iPad to view pending friend requests. I think there are 2, but it appears off the bottom of the screen and attempting to expand/open the “pending” section doesn’t work. 
No kidding, he’s got quests for the Church of Lard Lard, the Pumpkin House, the House of the Future, and the main Halloween questline as well, if not more.
There are a few bonus buildings that I really like, Barney with the Bowl-O-Rama, the pet store with Jub Jub, and Professor Frink and his lab are three in particular.
Anyone know if we hold off on quests (like Bart on the new ride in Krustyland) until after Halloween if we’ll be OK? I can’t imagine the quests actually going away until we perform them.
I can’t expand/contract that list myself, but you don’t need to: to approve pending friend requests…(grr…can’t connect to the server to check)…anyway, I think it’s under “news.”
Anyway, it’s in a non-intuitive location.
Ha! My son just figured out a way to get unlimited donuts. Unfortunately, it only works if your Springfield is glitched like his is. Somehow his cash went negative one time, and he is able to buy whatever he likes and it just sends his cash more and more negative. He just realized he can buy and sell the cubic zirconia for $10 million and earn a ton of XP, quickly getting to the level up donut bonus. (he buys/sells it about 5x and then gets 3 donuts)
So in case anyone else out there has unlimited cash, there’s your way to turn it into donuts.
So how do we get unlimited cash? 
I wish I knew… he used to play his game on both android and iOS devices… maybe that had something to do with it.
Yep, approving friend requests is under the news tab, not the friends tab.
