How do you tell your overall bonus percentage? I know how to find the conformity percentage, but as you say, it can only go to 5%. I’m sure I’ve got more bonus percentage than that, but I don’t know how to tell how much. I doubt I have as high as 54%, but hey, a girl can dream.
I’m glad Halloween is over, but I’m still loving playing this game. I’ve spent $10 on donuts, but that was only in the last month or so - the rest of my gains are just from putting in the time.
To expand, click on the Gulp n Blow and count the money. You should get $100, anything above and beyond is your bonus. I get $154 so I’m at 54%. You can do it with any thing. A one hour job is supposed to payout $70, I get $108 (or maybe they round it to $110). If something is supposed to give me $375, I get $575 or thereabouts.
Using the Gulp n Blow is easiest because you just subtract $100 and that’s your number. No calculator involved.
Until I level-maxed, I didn’t care about XP. I hated leveling up while I did the grind just for cash. Once I level-maxed, I didn’t care any more and love the tile glitch to max out my xp (without doing the weather station thing) and get donuts. Getting xp before I level-maxed was just an unfortunate side effect of grinding.
I’ll be not building for a while, I think. My next few building quests are going to take over 100k cash or loads of KL tickets per quest, plus I’ll probably need to do land expansions in both places. Plus I expect Christmas to start within 2 weeks, and I’m sure I’ll be distracted with that like I was with goo.
For those of you who did buy the Grumple balloon, I read that it’s not giving out the proper xp multiplier. Kind of glad I didn’t get it after all.
I finally was able to create a user id. So if you get a friend request from
68XR7G
that’s me.
Feel free to send me friend requests also. I don’t know if it makes a difference on who initiates the request, but if it does, and I have to send the request, no problem. I’ll get to it. Slowly.
If i go into your springfield, what am I permitted to do?
What happens when I hit an icon hovering over a house? Do I collect that money and Xp for myself, or does it go to the person who’s neighborhood is being visited?
Ii don’t want to screw with anyones neighborhood oR cost anyone money or Xp or donuts…
Can anyone tell me what happens when I visit someone else’s springfield?
You’ll both get the money and XP. After you get some friends, you’ll start noticing handshake icons replacing the money icons. That means that someone else already clicked on it. You click on the handshake and you’ll geth te same amount as before (as far as I know).
On another note, after only my third time playing it, I hit the 99:1 payout! Got some more buildings built and expanded Squidport.
To add, there are also buildings that don’t collect money and XP naturally like Moe’s Tavern, the grade school, and the police station. With those, you can vandalize them with the spray can icon and both you and the vandalizee will get money and XP for it )vandalizee gets money and XP for cleaning it up). Graffiti also affects your righteousness modifier so cleaning it up will help your bonuses.
Also clicking the squidport tile will just give you XP, but it will be more XP than clicking houses will give you.
I try to click either the squidport tiles, the spray paintable buildings and the other buildings with long payout times like the white houses (12 hours). I don’t always succeed though. I also find it tough getting to all my friend’s towns every day and I end up getting just some here and there.
I haven’t hit the 99:1 on the dog racing either. I did get Hans Moleman from a Homer Buddha today, so now I get to watch 24 hours of Man Getting Hit By Football.
Thanks. I will continue to add friends fromt he list in this thread, so if you see my request, please accept, and also feel free to send me a rewuest if you want. 68XR7G is me.
I have no idea what Squidport is, or what 99-1 payout refers to, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out at some point.
I am now at the point of trying to save money to build the school. Busy today, though so i don’t know if I’ll get to it.
There was a really good modified game that would get you old items, money, and donuts. It was free from someone on reddit.
Then some other guy decided to start a website called Gamezino to sell it. He would get your user name and password and get you the old items and donuts, profiting off the work that some other guy did for free. This person also somehow managed to take over the most viewed tips website, TSTO Tips. It was this whole crazy situation. Google “spanser Gamezino” if you want to read about it.
After that, the guy who created the modified game stopped making it available. Gamezino shut down within days. But apparently the guy still has control of TSTO Tips. All of the original writers bailed to start other sites. The guy who did the mod started one too, but just a fan site (tstonews) with no mods available.
I got my first free mystery box, and I have to say, I was underwhelmed. I got a newspaper dispenser.
Whoopee.
I’ve been grinding away for a week, now and i’m still not seeing much, but i’m not killing myself either. If I think about it and have my iPad handy, I’ll sign on and claim my money and XP’s. but i still don’t have many donuts. In fact, the only way i’ve seen to get donuts is to go from one level to another. And that gives you one donut.
I’m also not seeing any great increase in percentage of XP’s or Cash. I’m at 4% right now. I’ve added a bunch of shrubs, bushes, and everything else that I can add without donuts. I’ve looked at my star ratings in the bottom left hand of the screen, and most of them are five stars except the one that requires donut purchases… Thats at zero stars.
I see folks at over 50% and higher… How long have you all been playing?
