… with the amount of venues that offer their own DJ or live orchestra (for starters, any of the hundreds of hotel restaurants specializing in “family celebrations”), aren’t there other aspects of the whole wedding organization which would be more problematic? I mean, I can see saying “hey, you can buy your dress and suit here, and have them fitted if needed, and register, and if you’re moving we can decorate the new house!” but “we’ll play the Chicken Dance for you!” doesn’t seem to be solving any of the usual problems.

In other news, Kid 2 is off to school. Kid 1 and DH are about to leave.
I am out of grape juice and dog food, so at least some shopping will have to occur today. (Grape juice is the magic elixir that allows Kid 2 to take his meds.)

I wrote a poison pen email to our facilities department who handles interfacing with the cleaning services contractors, as did my cow-orkers. We each received a reply thanking us for bringing it to their attention and that the situation was being taken care of. The housekeeper was out of there on time today. 
Blurf So I have this PII training that has to be done by tomorrow but when I went into the TWMS system it shows me not being due until the end of Sept. WTF? Like all I have is a bunch of spare time to do online training. Not.
This is the longest week in history. Only Wednesday. Jeez.
Howdy Y’all! Hump Day has been survived. YAY! Not a bad trip to the southwest forty today even. Sallit with grilled chikin strips and cheesy garlic bread for dindin. Easy and tasty just the way I like my dindin and my men.
Tomorrow is the Budweiser Clydesdales Day. They will be across the street at the store and my boss actually gave me permission to place a temporarily closed sign on the office door so we can all go over and visit.
