I just finished applying water seal to the trim and the tops of the 3 railings. Doggone, it’s hot out there!! OK, it’s only 81°, but it feels lots hotter in the sun. I bet **FCD **is roasting out there on his bike! I’ll leave in an hour or so to meet him and his biker buds at Bert’s.
Meanwhile, the house is closed up and the air is on. Dammit.
I hear ya MOOOOOOM though the temp outside is a chilly mid 80s it feels like mid nineties with the hyooooomidity. Thus da bear is in the nice, cool a/c.
My neighbor is havin’ a big family reunion today. She just came over and told us, told us, mind you, that we will come over and eat around fiveish today. BBQ ribs 'n chikin, collard greens, field peas, mac 'n cheese and who knows what else. Heck yeah, we shall be there forks in hand! 
I don’t like cranberry sauce at all, so I don’t care what form you like yours in. 
The rest of the menu sounds great.
The ride ended early, so I had a burger at Bert’s with my sweetie. As soon as he changes, we’re going to Home Depot for some garden edging. Good times…

Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) didn’t like it until I made it with fresh cranberries. Mrs. Plant (v.2.0) liked canned cranberry jelly, slid (slidden?) out of the can whole, so the little lines showed her where to slice it.

I don’t have any clothes out on the line like some people around here, but I did put new wire up to hang the wet duds from. Also put up a couple of pulley contraptions on the porch to hang flower baskets from.

laundry is getting clean - BIG pile of garage sale donatables which a chorusmate’s young strong nephew will pick up soon - hangables hung in closet - armoire nicely organized. YAY.
Baahhhh, a radio broadcaster I like is in my city for the night, and I don’t have a chance to go downtown, it’s too late, it’s expensive, etc. etc… Bah.:rolleyes:
I’m starting to sound like a sheep with all the baaahing. 
I suppose I should be good and stay home and practice the bass clarinet or the regular clarinet or some such thing. I’m in the process of organizing together my bass clarinet music for a project. I hope good things will come of it.
I’m also in the process of getting my newer instruments insured.
Bah, I have too many instruments. But I like them. But I don’t have enough time to practice them all every day.

And we’re home, the laundry is all in and folded, and I’m about to repair my kid’s afghan so she can pack it for her move. Then knittage will ensue. Laterzzzz!!
URP! ‘Scuse me. Ribs, chikin, greens, mac ‘n c heese, dressin’, field peas with okra, N.O.T. sallit, cornbread, rolls, chawklit cake, lemon icebox pie, peach cobbler, iced tea, soda water, beerverages… it was all there. No, I did not eat it all but I wanted to eat it all. I had some chikin, greens, peas, dressin’, cornbread and cake. Oh and a beerverage to wash it all down. OYKW et pretty much the same thing. We’s stuffded. I had told my neighbor earlier that folks were welcome to use the pool if desired so they went over to Fred’s (discount sto’ near da cave) and Dollar General and got bathin’ suits and floatie thingys for the kidlets. As long as an adult is watchin’ I’m good.
Did I mention we’s stuffded?
I am sick (I hit 100.2 degrees F a couple hours ago), and I have exams next week. 
I am feeling a little better right now, so I will just use the little energy I have at this moment to study…
