Dang - I actually got a pretty good night’s sleep! I crashed around 9:30, and mostly slept til 6:30. **FCD **didn’t go to bed til around 11, so after he took the dog out and fed her this morning, he crashed again, and I’m having a little *me *time.
It’s cold but clear out - what little snow fell yesterday all melted and the driveway is mostly dry - I assume the same for the roads. I plan to spend a few hours in my studio - I’m going to make some yarn bowls and some spoon rests, and maybe some flower pots if I feel so inclined. I’ve also got to do some laundry either today or tomorrow. Meanwhile, **FCD **is going to do a major water change and tank cleaning.
Overall, it should be a pretty good day.

flytrap I’m sure we could have a Kosher and Non-Kosher kitchen. Not that you would like refuse to eat the bacon and poke chops. 
Deheathenization this mornin’ and laundry/ironin’ this afternoon. I can hardly wait! This bein’ the first Sunday in Lent, we shall pray (yes, when we do this it’s called prayin’) The Great Litany also known as The Great Monotony by those of us who need extra special deheathenization. There’s a loooooooooooong part of it where the response is “We beseech thee to hear us good Lord” over and over and over and over. I always imagine the good Lord’s response, “alright, enough already I hear ya!” 
I am a major candidate for extra special deheathenization.
Now I need more caffiene and should consider brekkie for rumbly tummy. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence.

All of which reminds me of the story of the Jewish family that had – count 'em – five refrigerators in their home.

- And two more are for the same, but during Passover.

In my paternal grandmother’s world, that was the case for dishes.

I’m going to need the 17 year old to explain this to me. Has more knobs, switches and screens than the space shuttle. Heated seats. Those will be the FIRST thing figured out. Presently snowing, blowing sideways. Everyone but me heading to Monster-in-Laws as soon as the snow clears, so I will be without allegedly adult supervision for 5 days. After emailing the first draft of a paper for a class, I plan on cleaning for a few days. Trash day is Wed., and they are NOT going to be happy with me.

I am sleeping very very poorly at the moment. I wake up with a headache and feeling like I have been put through a wringer! LibbyCat seems to have realized this and has not woken me up at 5.30am by stomping all over me so I get up and feed her soft food for breakfast which has been nice.
I have the bed stripped and sheets in the washer and the clean replacements are out of the line closet ready to go on thebed. I have also wiped down the kitchen and taken the trash out and that is about all I intend to do today. I will get dressed briefly to go get my quad venti latte but that will be about it. I intend to be a slug today.
The Bakersfield Condors video I linked at the beginning of the MMP just got mentioned on Wait, Wait!
There’s white stuff on my deck this morning. It’s going away. We’ve had “don’t even bother calling it” snow this year and I’m most displeased. I need to recharge my snowbringer batteries.
Today’s plans include making jambalaya and finishing thishorrible Ellery Queen novel so I can write out the conversation I want to have with my mom about it. (Sneak preview: “Hey, mom, did these read better in the 70’s? I sure hope so.”)
No sounds coming from the vent today. I’ll wait until tomorrow to take the tape off. I admit I’m a bit askeert of what I’ll find.

Good morning all.
Did some major house cleaning yesterday, so today a friend will drop by at 11 or so and we’re going to watch all the NFL playoffs and Superbowl I have on the DVR. As Baltimore natives we shall both get great pleasure out of it.
Up, and caffeinated. There’s a little white stuff on the ground. Gordie is dreaming.
Alien, heated seats are da bomb. I like to say Rory the Grand Cherokee has bells and whistles.
Lunch, I’d just need 3 fridges. ! for the keg, one for the bottles and cans, and one for food.
rosie, I’m sure Gordie could charm you. He’s weird but lovable.

I’m not even Jewish, and I have 2 refrigidaters. One is the regular one, the other is overflow and special projects. There are times when the second one is empty and unplugged.

Last night I was at a party. We ordered pizza, but the pizza place delivered the pizza to a faraway address in another town. As compensation, they then delivered $90 worth of free pizza to our party.
