The rain is making me very cranky. Time for drugs and sleep.
We have achieved ceiling fan and working light switch only 11 years after we started! 
OK, the ceiling fan was actually a new addition - originally, it was going to be a foyer light. But I’ve now got a switch near my recliner instead of across the room! WOOHOO!!
As soon as my sweetie gets cleaned up, we’re going to find food. Yay!

Dindin has been consumed, the kitchen is all clean, and OYKW is preparin’ him a nice soak in the whirlpool tub. All is good. Rosie there was indeed onion in with the brisket. I have to say, btw, the brisket was awesome. Tender, juicy, fallin’ apart. I’m pretty sure Jewish mothers everywhere would approve. The brownies have yet to be touched. Even OYKW said he was too full to eat any yet. :eek:
We let Red Robin feed us. Now we’re home in veg mode. I shall log off in a minute or two and assume the crochet position.

Yes, butters, the tooth is still hurty. My dental appointment is first thing tomorrow but it will likely be Monday
before excavationbegins (damn bloodthinners). I am also making a pot of chicken veggie soup tomorrow so that I won’t have to cook while I’m healing.
My work week is finished and now the home-work-week begins. Not always sure which of the two is best. But we are visiting a seasonal haunted attraction tomorrow night so life isn’t totally bad.
Bought a frozen lasagna for dinner tonight. Irk was irk. Should probably do some homework to avoid the Sunday afternoon panic.
It’s been wet and dreary, but while I ponder, I’m not weak or weary, 'cause the Canes won tonight.

Up, caffeinated, off to work. It’s raining still.
Overnight we discovered the secret of getting some sleep is to let Higgs out when she fusses (3AM today) then bring her to bed with us. After licking her feet for a few minutes, she settled down against my left side and went to sleep. Taz was plastered against my right side. Unable to move, I slept till 6:30! I’ve since let Higgs out again and fed her, and **FCD **is still abed. It’s temporarily stopped raining, but it’s overcast and windy and about 54° - perfect sleeping in weather. But I’ll just surf in peace for a bit.
Alas, due to the rain, I’ll be forced to run the laundry thru the dryer. But I’ll get it all done today, so there’s that. My sweetie is trying to get his new machine up and running - he spent most of yesterday making parts to support the computer screen and keyboard so that he can pull it out when he needs it and swing it out of the way when he’s done. Another of my chores will be making covers for all the electronic parts to protect them from any dust and crud that may be generated in other parts of ManLand. Plus I get to empty the dishwasher - I’ve been forgetting that for 3 days…
What other excitement does the day hold? We shall see…

Since I don’t intend to leave the house today, I’m clad appropriately - sweats! I’ve showered, so I don’t stink too bad. First load is in the dryer, second in the washer, 2 more to go. It’s 65° in the house and I thought about firing up the pellet stove - maybe this evening. We shall see…

It sucks outside, cold, rainy, and dreary. It’s chilly inside, we tried turning on the hear last night but the smell was over powering. We’ll turn it on today when it warms up a bit and it’s comfortable to open the windows.
The dehumidifier finally has caught up and the basement isn’t smelling as bad.
Not going to the armpit today, my mother called Thursday and said not to bother. We’re not going to move furniture in the rain.
I didn’t sleep at all last night. I feel like hell today but there is other stuff going on too. I’ve made some hard decisions and started doing some things I have been putting off.
I have been to the grocery sto, drug sto, and to Sam’s to feed twuck. I have decided that’s productive enough for a Sattidy. Sloth will now ensue.
