The Sweet Sixteen MMP

Guess we need one of Miracle Max’s special pills…

Hello, Costco? I need your entire stock of Brain Bleach, please…

I’m not holding his beer.

::shudder:: Can’t say I blame you there, you poor, poor woman.
Gotta get ready to go in, early call today.

At irk. The power has been off for a few minutes twice today. Can’t get anything done with no power.

I am kind of hoping for a gov’t shutdown as my office is one that would have to close. I could do with some time off. Of course I could just schedule a vacation. :smack:

We had more rain overnight which brings our total up to about 8 inches in the last 10 days. Some places have had more than that.

OK I must get back to irk before the power goes out again.

I have a cold. :frowning:

Damn immune system let me down. It’s supposed to be hyper-vigilant! How dare it be normal!

Blurf.

Feel better soon BigKitty

Yet another day of NOTHING!! I took my paperbook copy of The Thorn Birds to read - I got thru close to 300 pages. And I was freezing! It was warmish outside so I didn’t bother with taking a sweater. Mistake - the office was like a meat locker. I’ll be prepared tomorrow.

Rain is moving in - yay!

Other than that, I got nothing. And I’m not thinking about anyone’s nipples…
Happy end of Tuesday.

Howdy Y’all! Irk was survived. Dindin has been cooked and consumed, and the kitchen is clean. No rain today. As a matter of fact the sun is shinin’ and it’s real warm out. :dubious:

{{{Big Kitty}}} feel better soonest.

Nettie it will all be survived.

Ruble it’s early yet but you’re way in the lead for most TMI post of the week.

Taters do me a favor and slap flytrap with a wet trout whilst you are in Arkansas.

I am takin’ this Firday off, so only two more days of irk for da bear! YAY!

That is all.

Dinner was egg drop soup and ginger chicken courtesy of the Chinese Place That Delivers. That counts as chicken noodle soup, right?

Been a busy day. We had a minor flood in the kitchen - I unhooked the washer and dropped the hose. Who knew so much water could run out so quickly? Kind of annoying too because I had just washed all the towels so I had to use clean ones to sop up the mess and then wash another load.
I put the rug outside and spread it on the deck but I doubt it will dry.

It’s so humid we turned on the AC.

Finally figured out what was wrong with the dehumidifier, filter was clogged, and got that fixed.

I have a pretty purple flower growing in the back yard. I have no idea what it is, the stalk is about 2 feet high with a few other stalks branching off. There are 5 big flowers on it. Just sprouted up. Could be a weed for all I know. I’ll try to post a pic later and maybe somebody here will know what it is.

Sure, if they make it from scratch.

I am most wroth at my fortune cookie fortune. It is not fun at all.

"The evening promises romantic interests."

No entendre to be had. Not a one.

I demand a refund.

Miss Rosie (may I call you so familiarly? ) , I read your travel thread but didn’t have any directly applicable advice. I do have kinda applicable experience traveling with disabled people, one being me, and what I came away with was 1) it took around 3 months to identify and get and clarify all the issues and clearances and documents I needed, and 2) the information and folks available at the TSA website for traveling with a disability were really helpful, and 3) stuff happens, best to be ready to be flexible and don’t be afraid to ask for help, and most important 4) I would do it all again, the end experience of seeing friends/family and feeling of empowerment from accomplishing it were really worth it. For me. Your mileage is your trip, of course  Good fortune attend you either way.

For today, any day not in that #%€?!!ing hospital is a good one, so today is a good day

Hot and sour for me. I’m leaving it cool enough not to set the tooth to thumping again.

Yes, Cheesey, you may

Thank you. There’s a lot of information to process. The trip I’m considering isn’t until end of June '16 so I still have a few weeks to sort it all out and make the plans.
Part of me is saying “oy! such a hassle!” and another part is saying “But it’s San Diego!” We shall see who wins.

Dishwasher is washing dishes (how convenient!!) Lunches are pretty much ready for tomorrow. It’s raining. A certain canine woke me at 4AM again. I’s tahred!!!

And I figured out why my time card didn’t save - I entered my time in military time, without using the colon. When I added the colon, it worked. YAY!!

We saw the new Daily Show episode tonight - I think Trevor did a good job and I look forward to watching him grow into the show.

And now - time to recline and crochet. Early bedtime tonight, methinks…

Naaah, not even close. Now had I mentioned that they are also serious glass-cutters --------------- :stuck_out_tongue:

Salad for dinner with much fresh PA grown mushrooms. Life is good sometimes. And even when it isn’t it beats the heck out of the alternative.

<snerk> IN BED! <snerk>

On that note we are retirin’ to the boudoir to watch teevee until sleepy time.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

It’s not as much fun when the fortune is practically begging for an “in bed” or “in my pants.”
