When dining on a spicy meal, it is always best to enjoy some ice cream for dessert.
That way when you’re staple-gunned to the crapper the next day you can mutter to yourself, “Come on ice cream” as a mantra to get yourself through it.
That being said, I’m insane for spicy food. At my favorite Chinese, Thai and Mexican restaurants, they know me and they know I really mean it when I order something spicy.
I had to go back and forth with the sweet little old lady that runs my favorite Thai place for a while. I finally convinced her that the roundeye can hold his own in the hot food department and everything has been perfect ever since.
