The tell someone you love them MMP

It’s spring; trying to clean. Why does Murphy’s Oil Soap smell so nasty? Bleeccchhh!!!

Clean? What is the *clean *of which you speak??

FUCK.

There was a confusion over the units. The one I looked at is $100 over my budget and $150 more than the other one. It’s also not available until the middle of April (which is fine) and is currently occupied. And it’s smaller, which is… possibly very bad and at very least very disappointing. The rental company is going to give my name and number to the property manager so I can see it.

Dammit. One the one hand, it’s my own fault for not specifying. On the other hand, they should have double-checked which unit I meant!

Twas either clean or make homemade gravy! :stuck_out_tongue:

Go ahead, **Spiderman **- try to start something with me! :stuck_out_tongue:

As a matter of fact, I just cleaned my kitchen. First, I made a cucumber salad, then I de-gunkified the rotisserie, loaded the dishwasher and set it to washing, then cleaned the counters and the sinks. I’ve considered scrubbing the master bath, but that sounds too much like work… I do need to strip the bed, tho. Damned housework fairy has let me down again.

My sweetie called and I informed him that tonight is grab-whatever-for-supper night. I’m thinking about assuming the knit position right now. Thinking…

Oh no no; I’m not trying to start anything. Au contrare, if you do all that, I’m inviting you over. One question thou, do you bring your own mop or do I need to supply? :stuck_out_tongue:
Took a scrub brush & cleaned where the sun don’t shine - the bricks out front (west side) had a nice green mildew patina. It’s gone but, unfortunately, so is my knuckle skin. Have a feeling they’ll both grow back.

I know it’s spring/summer because I saw three ants in the powder room (no uncles, just ants). I hate those itty bitty ants. They are harmless but I don’t like them. They make me feel like I have to scrub the floor. I had to dig through the boxes o’ summer clothes last night to find me sumpin to wear to work that wasn’t wool. Now I’m freezing cuz they turned up the a/c so I’m wearing a cardi. I look like such a liberrian.

I suppose that because you are wearing a cardigan, you’re not a hot liberrian.

Howdy Y’all! I came home from irk a little early cause my sinuses ache plus I wanted to leave. So There!:stuck_out_tongue: I like bein’ pretty much a one person office. I have a part-time assistant and everyone else is out in the field except when we have staff meetin’s or there’s paperirk stuff they need to bring in if’n they decide not to fax it or scan it in and send.

{{{soapy}}} I’ve been there too. Hospice is a wonderful thing. They’ll do their best to make your dad comfy and pain free. Also they are wonderful at comforting family. Y’all are in my thoughts and prayers.

nuts sounds like you were the least nuts person in your pottery class.

wetone I have a general rule with critters. If they’re outside, fine. Live and let live. However, once inside then critter demise must ensue. Except for lizards. I’ll catch them and put 'em back outside. The same with frogs. Creepy critters, however, must not break the rule.

MOOOOOOM I don’t do homemade pie crusts either. Too much trouble and yes I do know how. My bread makin’ skills are limited to bizkits and cornbread. All other bread can be bought.

Tonight is soup ‘n sammich at the church house. Can’t wait cause I’m commencin’ to get hongry!

I don’t do homemade piecrusts cause I can’t make one as good as storebought. And I use jarred gravy for stuff that doesn’t have any drippin’s. Ya can’t make gravy without drippin’s! I draw the line at instant mashed potatoes, though. :blech:

I’ve been so busy, I hardly have time to post! But I’m reading.

{{{and anybody else who needs one}}}

**{{{Soapy}}}**Take very gentle care of yourself.

How’s your Dad doing, Roo?

Holy carp, it went from winter to summer. S’hot in here & we have the AC on. Errends were run, N.O.L consumed & except for making PB some supper, I have nothing else needs doing today, although I may get a jump on Spring Cleaning/deleavening. Then again, I may not. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, I scrubbed the bathroom sinks and wiped down the toilets, but I pointedly ignored the bathtub/shower stall because I hate scrubbing those. Supper was grilled cheese sammiches and cucumber salad. I’m going to knit the evening away. Life is good.

I am multitasking.

Currently, I am supporting a sleeping puppy, I am researching stuff, I am dying my hair, and I’m watching a rerun of NCIS.

The hair dye is henna, and I’m re-doing it because the last time I did my roots, I apparently didn’t work it in far enough and had stripey roots. Thing is, after the henna is mixed, you’re supposed to let it sit for 12 hours to activate the lawsone molecules (the dye), and with everything going on yesterday, I ended up letting it sit for 36 hours. Then, I forgot to use gloves. So, even though I handled my henna saturated hair for less than five minutes, I now have orange palms. I’m thinking an hour and a half will be plenty for the hair, instead of the regular four hours.

Oh, and I have a beer.

Howdy Y’all! Home from soup ‘n sammich, Evening Prayer and keg deliverin’. I’s tahrd!

Pearl I have not been keepin’ up. Is Passover gettin’ near? Personally I can’t believe Holy Week is week after next and Easter is two weeks from this Sunday.

MOOOOOOM I spray the shower stall once a week, let it set for about half an hour and rinse it down. I figure that keeps it reasonably sanitary.

kanga all that and a beer. I bow down to your mad multitasking skillz!

Now Ima go take some nitenite sinus meds and go lie on the bed and watch me some teevee until sleepy bye takes over.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Hi. I’ve been reading when I can but I’ve been kind of over my head in general life crap lately so I haven’t been online to post.

I’m ready for life to get easier.

Ok, gotta go. Time to study for my ASL midterm tomorrow.

Evening all. Thunderstorms ran through here about 2 hours ago and crazy amounts of rain again.
I don’t make pie crust from scratch either…

It is almost Friday. Whoohoo!

It’s snowing! Again!

I don’t make piecrusts either, 'ceptin for my killer cheesecake. Otherwise it’s too much trouble.

I don’t mind making gravey however. Canned/bottled gravey tastes blech to me.

Laters.

Swampy, yup, it’s about that time. Two weeks from this Sabbath is the first Day of Unleavend Bread.

I’m ashamed. I can’t tell you the last time I scrubbed my bathtub. :o Will probably get done soon though, cause if I have to deleaven, I might as well clean the place, too LOL
Bumbazine, SNOW? you have SNOW??? It was mid 80’s here today!
New kitty was here tonight. Turns out he like belly wubbins. Too weeks is too long to wait :frowning: He is such a sweetie.

Janis, I forget, are you down by Eugene?
Yes, it was snowing here this afternoon, but it wasn’t too serious about it. Just desultory flakes.

Seriously? Pesach is only two weeks away? Where did the year go?
