We watched “Goliath” with Billy Bob Thornton.
Because it’s only eight episodes, we got through it. Had it been more I dunno. The show had great promise, with an absolutely slam bang cast, I mean holy shit - Billy Bob Thornton, William Hurt, Molly Parker, Maria Bello, Harold Perrineau, even the people I didn’t know were great… The premise was good, and like a good lawyer show, it started off with some legitimately interesting lawyering. But then things started making no sense. And then it got dumber and dumber and the final episode was dumber than “Jackass.” I am a better lawyer than the lawyers in this show and I’m not a lawyer.
The show had so much potential and they just utterly blew it.
I am amazed they’re making a second season.
