The "Traditional Start of Summer" MMP

What a day! It’s going to be a long one too! Stoopit R&A!

taxi, I meant to add that Ocean Shore is rather drab and rundown. Frankly, the coast is much, much prettier further north. Oh, and it always, always, always windy there at Ocean Shores. It’s not one of my favorite places to go.

Hope** gt** is enjoying Paris!

Hugs, smooches and gropes to the rest of you. I’ve got to get back to my R&A. Bleh.

**gt **should be in Paris. Maybe she’ll bring us all croissants.

I pulled our little never-been-used grill out of the shed, to find it full of rusty water. We have a leak in the shed roof. Yet another chore… Anyway, I’m going to clean the grill part and we’re having steaks for supper. Over charcoal. Yum!

Tonight’s exciting plans include laundry - try not to be jealous.

Why isn’t it Firday yet?

Yeah, I’m not sure how our friends had heard of it, but from what they’d heard/read it sounded much nicer than it was. And considering the drive, we probably would have been better off sticking with the Vancouver plan! :smack: Or going to Victoria Island, which someone mentioned is really nice. Oh well. We’ll know for next time… if we get back there in the next few years. There are just so many other places we want to go. But the flip side of that argument is that flights to Seattle are really cheap compared to almost anywhere else. So we just might go back!

Today, I am queen of crabby. Hear me waaah.

We should have a crab-off - I’m not in my usual cheery mood. Believe it or not… :stuck_out_tongue:

I hate heat; I hate humidity and I’m sick of rain. Other than that, the day has been good.

AAAAARGH!!!

Some little kid outside has been signing the same song over and over again for at least the last 15 minutes.:dubious:

This is the song.

Hmm… That’s alot of words for a small child.

Should I get the waaambulance? :dubious:

Ooooh! I also meant to say that I’m quite proud that I now know how to pronounce Puyallup.

That’s good, taxi, because that’s where I live!

Pie, if the kid is signing the song, how can it drive you crazy? You can’t hear it.
:::ducks and runs for cover::::smiley:

Ah, well if you go to the Target store there, that’s where T works. He’s the store manager there.

Steak on the grill is muy yummo. It would have been better if I’d thought of it yesterday and marinated overnight, but still, it was good.

I may grill chickie tomorrow.

And so you see how crazy it’s made me, I can’t even type!!

Good Og! Sapphire really likes her new catnip toy that was a present from my aunt for her. I will have to report back on that. Some cats don’t really care about catnip, but she’s trying to kill that thing, and looking sort of wacked-out at the same time. Heh. I’ll have to put it away later or neither of us will get any sleep, I can tell.

Some of the women in my office are wasting no time. One has a baby who is just under a year, another is going to have one any day now, and yet another announced today that she’s pregnant. I’m very happy for all of them, but egad, I’ve only been there a year and a half! We’re thinking on taking bets on who is next. It won’t be me, that much I can promise.

Home, tired, dirty. Miss Nelly actually made The List for the first time. She whizzed on the comforter Gordie pulled off the bed. Dinner tonight is leftover tailgate pork chops, rice, and corn.

Pie, next time he starts singing, throw Jarts at him.

Great pictures, taxi.

Puggy, I’ll work some mojo for the Magic.

Really? Which one? There are two out here on South Hill; a newer one and one at South Hill Mall.

I is TAHRED. I worked until seven o’clock today. I’d really like to just head off to bed, but there is stuff to be done. Cooking dinner for instance.

Okay, so today I went to work, came home and am still working like crazy to get this play I wrote ready to be FedExed to the Fringe Festival in Wilmington Delaware.

I got an invitation to do the play for the festival from a really nice gal I worked with at the Fells Point Corner Theater last year. She was the lead actress in a scene from the play that was done as part of a workshop to audience-test the thing last November. It actually did pretty well, so she wanted to take it the Fringe people.

Tell you what, if you guys want to see the scene that was done, the link is:

Bleah, they got the title as God Willing and the **Creeks ** Don’t Rise. I was like, whatever, call it what you want so I never bothered to have them change it.

Anyhow the setup is that the two principals are DEA agents who work together and are engaged to each other.

As the guy finds out that his girl is sleeping with his best friend, the girl finds out he is selling intel to traffickers.

Enjoy, I guess. I mean, I like it but then, I wrote it! :stuck_out_tongue:

Blurf.

Gotta go make my share of the company’s profit.

My back is killing me today. Looks like it’s time for some massage therapy.

Got a trip to the unemployment office scheduled this afternoon. Here’s hoping it’s successful. I feel weird doing this. That’s my dad’s Proud Poor Southernism kicking in. It can kick itself right back out.

Hi, Creaky! I can’t watch youtube at work, so I’ll have to catch it later.

Busy day here!

See ya later…
