I totally forgot that Sony released this this month. I just got it off of Amazon and can’t wait until it gets here. Transformers: The Movie in wide screen glory, plus over six hours of material devoted to the cultural phenomena that was, is and will be The Transformers.
Anyone else picking it up or has already picked it up? Is it a big improvement over the current OOP DVD (which I also have)? Are the bonus materials worth viewing?
I ordered it from Amazon the other day, along with the Police Squad! DVD set.
I also know one of the folks who worked on it. Me and my friends have been teasing him about the lack of a soundtrack for the Scramble City extra. He blames Sony. 
I’ll have ot remember to pick it up next time I’m oot and aboot.
Oh, here is a great review of the new DVD, and includes comparisons between the widescreen and 4:3 versions as well as the earlier Rhino release.
