Jeez, it’s hard enough deciding which of the relevant threads to post in without someone creating a EXACT duplicate of an existing thread because they don’t like the title or something. I hope this thread dies quickly.
No, it was started because the opinion has been floated that the other thread–with over 9,000 posts–is past the point of being unwieldy, and I agreed. What, do you want a single thread with fifty thousand posts over the length of the Trump administration?

Agreed. Unless the mods close the other thread, this seems destined to add confusion rather than reduce it. The other thread is nowhere near the longest thread around, so why that one needs to be singled out escapes me.
I might miss anything posted here, so if something big happens, do post it in the original Clusterfuck thread, too.
That thread has been my therapy (well, okay, addiction) for months, and I check it once every hour (and before I hit any news sites). When we hit 10,000 posts, we should have a party to celebrate The People’s willingness to notice this administration’s shit and call them on it.
Maybe you need timely titles, like “Trump Clusterfuck 2018 Q1” with a new thread every three months.
One could argue that it continually making itself more of a clusterfuck every day, so it is technically still in the making.
Maybe it should be like the minirants threads, where a new one is started every month.
I’d be fine with that IF everyone else was on board. But the duplicate threads annoy me mostly because this forum doesn’t allow cross-posting. Many times I’ve posted to the “wrong” thread, one that quickly dies - only to find a long lasting vibrant discussion in a parallel thread. It drives me crazy sometimes.
You might say that having two identical threads is a clusterfuck in the making. Or would that be “in progress”?
This is good, I like this. Especially if there could be video of the people rushing to start the new one, and crashing into each other like outfilelders trying to catch the same pop fly!
