That’s what I thought too, particularly because he paused briefly the third time he recited them which made me think that he momentarily forgot the words he used and had to use visual cues to complete the list.
But @Ann_Hedonia posited here that he was probably actually using words from a different word association section of the test and couldn’t actually remember any memory words. I think she might be right.
