TL;DR: Both the Politico article (cited above) and the Yahoo article (cited there) fail to mention, this piece of wall was built by the same company that controversially got the contract last May, amid reports of being too cozy with people close to Trump, and questions about their suitability to be building this wall and the legality of mixing the funding with private funding.
