As is his wont, at his press conference yesterday Individual 1 called for a question from the One America Network reporter, representing his new favorite pro-him “news” channel. The question was “Why does the antifa dot com website redirect to Joe Biden’s campaign website, and shouldn’t he denounce them?” The website was created in Russia and just recently transferred to an anonymous Panamanian entity. 'Antifa' website cited in conservative media attack on Biden is linked to — wait for it — Russia?
What would happen if everyone in the US who is getting an email bill from any utility suddenly switched back to paper bills. Do you think AT&T wants the post office to slow down if that is the only way people get and pay their bills?
Given how little the current administration seems to care about those who are at this point looking at being destitute and homeless I don’t think the prospect of either undeliverables bill or payments is going to make a gnat’s whisker of difference in what they do. And what AT&T wants will not matter either.
My landlord counts the day of rent delivery by the postmark - as long as the date I dropped it off is stamped on it, it doesn’t matter how late they are in getting it. You might ask about your situation.
Of course, if they start only collecting/stamping the mail once a week that might cause problems…
My read on Jared Kushner is that he would have been a typical guy in the George W. Bush administration and he’s the smart guy in the Donald Trump administration.
I can’t look at Kushner without thinking of Dorian gray. A young attractive blemish-less face that displays no trace of worry of care covering a dark soul of greed and heartlessness.
Somewhere in the basement of 666 5th avenue there is a really ugly painting.
Yes, the freewheeling (it seems) effort to paint all who oppose Trump as Very Bad People has been hampered, to some degree, by the realization that Americans are no longer seeing this fabricated “drama” as entertainment. The “punish those evil Trump critics” show has been preempted by reality: the reality of deaths and unemployment and fears of what is to come.
Even some Congressional Republicans, apparently, are conscious of the fact that the pandemic has changed public perceptions of what they are doing–that time spent on putting Trump’s critics in the stocks will be seen by many as time taken away from dealing with more serious issues.
Michael Cohen’s publisher has released the forward to his forthcoming memoir, entitled “Disloyal”. It looks like it’s going to be a doozy. The tell-all to end all tell-all’s.
Will it change any minds about Trump? No. Will it affect the election? Probably not. But it sounds incredible and truly frightening.
I’ll probably take the same attitude to the Cohen book that I did to John Bolton’s; I’m willing to listen to the salacious details on the news, but I won’t be turning any money over to Cohen.
If Michael Cohen is willing to testify to a grand jury about some of Trump’s illegal dealings, then he will earn some respect from me.
Shortly after that question, he answered another one:
Trump also was asked about Kamala Harris’ eligibility to serve on the Democratic ticket, a notion that has quickly triggered cries of birtherism that pervaded during Barack Obama’s presidency.
“I heard today that she doesn’t meet the requirements,” he said. “I have no idea if that is right.”
