It’s only about 90% lie. The whole story (from memory, no cite): there were 2 DNC working group meetings – I think one was LGBTQ-focused, one was Muslim-focused – that were streamed but not broadcast. These 2 meetings began with the Pledge…and both dropped “under God”.
Which is certainly their right. But jeeezus h christ, what a politically stupid thing to do. If they had omitted the pledge entirely, no one would have even noticed; it’s not like the PoA is mandatory. But they put a big flashing red light all over themselves and put a “kick me!” sign on their backs.
I’ve been watching a lot of Pluto this weekend; seems they recently added a new channel which seems even farther right than OANN, for which I’ve been seeing entirely too many promos. It’s only a matter of time until Trump notices this channel and how hard they’re fellating him, at which time he’ll say that Fox and OANN are fake.
Heh. You have to go all the way back to Bob Dole to find a former GOP candidate willing to praise Trump. And even Bob had to be converted to the cause.
Any chance there’s any shred of medical validity to this one?
I think that for so many of people in Trump’s world, it really is about taking empty sacks to the White House and seeing how much cash and other shit they can fill them with before they are fired or prosecuted.
It’s hard for me to evaluate as I am not a specialist in the area, but a quick on-line survey suggests that transmission of blood borne diseases through plasma products is not unheard of. There might well be some ethical issues with doing more harm than good if this becomes wide spread.
