Sure, back in the good old days. But now that the prison is closed, Devil’s Island is a quite pleasant tropical island that gets 50,000 tourists a year.
Just last night I played a Randy Rainbow where he was “talking” to Kellyanne Conway 57 days into the administration and he commented it seemed longer adding, “Living under Trump is like dog years.”
On January 20, we can close this one. Then we should start a new, more hopeful foreward-looking thread (perhaps in P&E rather than the Pit), “Repairing the Clusterfuck”, in which we discuss all the things the new administration and Congress need to do, and are doing, to fix the trainwreck that Trump leaves behind. I nominate @ThelmaLou to have the honor of starting that thread.
I think that there will be an opportunity for a follow-along thread for all the legal problems Donnie, his family, and members of his family will (hopefully) have.
But also his family, a lot of members of Congress, and influential people outside Washington too if they’ve committed crimes, of whom I suppose there are more than a few.
Yeah I’ll line up for one of those badges too.
Other than the morbidly curious, the outright masochistic, and the reverently doltish, it’s always astounded me how anyone could possibly listen to the compulsive liar.
For a second.
Tiffany gets flamed for celebrating her birthday week unmasked in Miami, then gets dissed when big sis Ivanka tries to send a birthday tweet but doesn’t actually know Tiffany’s Twitter handle and sends it to the wrong account.
I suppose, but then we really need to have a thread along the lines of “Trump: The Aftermath”. There might be some exciting developments to discuss like the Orange Imbecile (a) being forcibly removed from the White House, and/or (b) trying to flee the country in disguise with a fake passport, etc.
Sometimes, an accomplishment itself is its own reward!
Oh course there’s going to be massive cheating. I don’t doubt it for second. I’m sure small town county officials all over rural America are adding fake voters to their rolls en masse and will continue to do so. Voter registrations of new Republican voters has far outpaced the registration of new Democratic voters and I’m sure it will continue to do so. I doubt they are all real but as long as the small rural governments close ranks they’ll never get caught.
