The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making Part Deux (Part 1)

OK, I memed it.

Every bully I’ve ever met is insecure and cowardly – it’s the underlying cause for the bullying, trying to be brave and tough in all the wrong ways. Those attracted to bullies are insecure cowards who just don’t quite have the balls to be a bully so they can only satellite around them. It somewhat explains why these folks genuinely believe Trump is a tough guy, because compared to them, he is.

Good meme. You could also work with “Under the Goldwater Rule, psychologists aren’t allowed to say it–but they can think it.”

all i can say is that I am very proud of our men and women in the deep state - if it weren’t for them, we’d be well and truly fucked.

SHH! The first rule of the deep state is - don’t talk about the deep state!

Yeah, I just applied for a job there, and right on the application it says that if I work for DS•inc. (dba The Deep State), they want a 2-yr. commitment, and they warned me that I can’t tell anyone, and that I will have a two year gap in my resume.

Under the rules due to go into effect if the Clusterfuck continues, no one is allowed to think. Period.

Well, I for one, wish to register a complaint. I voted for the first time in my life Democratic for president and I have yet to see my check from George Soros.

If I may channel my inner Republican…
“You can see it in two weeks.”

Now, please come back every week for the next four years and re-read this post.

It’s the one with the Ovaltine decoder ring enclosed, right?

I did not know that.

No kidding. Women, Hispanics, Blacks and LGBQT endured four years of his personal state-sanctioned scorn, and he increased his support from all these groups. https://www.essence.com/news/politics/55-percent-white-women-trump-election-2020/

I honestly don’t want to live in the US any more. We are not the country I was told we are in school, not even close. I’m beginning to think the pandemic might be a good thing, god help me.

Unless your school ignored slavery, the extermination of indigenous people, the Civil War, Jim Crow laws, voter suppression and gerrymandering, laws against inter-racial marriages, the legalization of hate/discrimination against LGBTQ+ peoples, anti-immigration, and white nationalism, this election should not come as a surprise at all. And you should not be surprised at all that this kind of willful ignorance and hate is the true face of the Republican party.

Also internment of Japanese Americans in WWII. Yeah, I know we’ve done some awful things. But I always believed we acknowledged the wrongs and aspired to do better, you know, “with liberty and justice for all.” At least half of us are not trying to right past wrongs, but are actively supporting those who would create new ones.

My schools implied (or stated) that these were things our great country overcame and put behind us. (other the LGBTQ issues, which weren’t in the textbooks when I was in school)

I’m also gravely disappointed in my fellow citizens. I live in a nice area, and don’t interact with any known Trump voters, so I think I’ll just do what I can for my family and community and try to ignore the enormous mass of bigotry and ignorance that surrounds us.

I was so disgusted with the human race yesterday that I could barely speak to anyone, but then I found out that in this red state, our county was one of the few that went blue. About 2/3 of the people I come in contact with are probably not deplorables. I’m holding on to that.

“The past is never dead. It’s not even past.”

I’ve been hearing news anchors say that Joe Biden has received more votes for president than anyone else in American history.

That implies that more people voted against Donald Trump than anyone else in American history. Take such consolation as you will from that fact.

Counting the ways Trump is turning America into a shithole country…

Yeah, but in this election Trump has also received more votes for president than anyone in American history except Joe Biden and Barack Obama, and he’s a pretty good shot to surpass Obama’s 2008 tally by the times counting is over.
