Great chicanery / town name combo
/nitpick/ Yeah I realise “spin”, as biased interpretation to decieve, is distinctly different than the shenanigans of shady money funneling, but entertain me anyway. /nitpick/
Other unrelated tidbits:
Not the least bit convinced when it’s contended that Pompeo was just trolling about the transition to a second Trump term. I think he’s a seriously deluded autoritarian-wannabe piece of emu’s excrement.
Aw too bad about Lewandowski getting covid earlier last week. Rough goin, brah, despite me wanting to spend just 30 seconds (is all I’ll need) in a locked up room with you.
Did we ever find out why Qanon scumfuck Marjorie Taylor Green’s two opponents quit?
Battleground electors - what the hell do we really know about them? Are they ever interviewed? I’d imagine they’re to be kept out of the public spotlight as much as possible, but you can’t help but wonder if outside forces are, in any way, trying to exert whatever forces necessary on electors to bring about dubious results.
The Republican Party is now to be officially called the SFLP, the Sore Fucking Loser Party.
The best thing about Hunter Biden is we don’t have to care about him much – he will not hold a White House position in his father’s administration, he will not be making decisions for our nation because of who his father is.
What we know about them is that they are selected by the party. They are usually important people, big donors, definite party allies. They are selected specifically because they are trusted to vote for the party’s candidate.
Short of extreme bribery or extortion, I have no reason to suspect they will be unfaithful. If there is that level of bribery or extortion, then it didn’t really matter who they were in the first place.
Hillary Clinton said she’s a Biden elector from New York.
I have to admit, I’d find it hysterical if she went faithless and cast her vote for Trump.
The people on Tik Tok tried to overwhelm the Million MAGA March hashtag by flooding it with pictures of pancakes.
Not that I’m asserting that they are competent or sensible, but this is likely to be a ham-fisted attempt to avoid being vulnerable to being charged under the Hatch Act.
The 1939 act’s full title is " An Act to Prevent Pernicious Political Activities"—and obviously it’s been utterly disregarded during the past four years, which have been nothing if not pernicious.
That’s something the K-pop stan’s ( a group of fans of Korean pop, I think) started. They’ve done this before, they hijacked #TrumpArmy and the associated tags when the Trump campaign was trying to recruit poll watchers. And don’t forget the time they requested 100’s of thousands of tickets to a Trump rally.
Of course it’s been disregarded: it doesn’t have a snappy acronym that spells out what it’s ostensibly trying to accomplish. AATPPPA sounds like a genetic code for crying out loud!
But … but … wasn’t he running for President and Governor and Chief Bottle-Washer of the whole United States or something? Why else were the Republicans on him so much?
For a “Law & Order” President, Donald Trump sure keeps company with a lot of people who don’t follow the law:
The GOP and Trump smear campaign against Hunter Biden was amazingly effective, one of the most impactful smear campaigns in history, so successful I don’t think a single person in the entire country voted for Hunter! Nixon himself would be proud.
So successful that Biden will be President soon enough while dump returns to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago hideout with his cadie, Austin Johnson being his last living friend
So sad, sad indeed
A federal judge has overturned Chad Wolf’s suspension of DACA, ruling that since Wolf’s position as acting DHS head was illegal, the action itself was illegal.
You know, considering the army of lawyers the Trump administration has subsidized over the years, it’s really remarkable how often they fuck up on matters of law.
“Only the best people!”
That is remarkable. Didn’t Trump promise to hire only the best people?
ETA: And ninja’d…serves me right for expanding on my draft post. I initially wrote the exact same thing that @Northern_Piper wrote.
