I’ve just seen, in breaking news on my NPR app, that Trump has tweeted that Rudy Giuliani has tested positive for “the China Virus” (Trump’s words, not mine).
I’d suggest a garbage scow, but a ship bearing his name should not be hauling garbage…

My first thought upon hearing that was “Can COVID be spread via farts?” - because apparently he dealt one earlier this week that stunk up a good sized room.

Too bad about Giuliani getting the 'rona. It’ll presumably take him out of circulation for a while, and he’s been such a source of rich comedy, and so disastrous for Trump. Hope he gets back on the job ASAP, and continues his excellent work on ship-sinking!

According to several rando twitter sources, Rudy has been taken to the hospital. So, I guess that is what it is, to borrow a phrase, but he may not be coming back from shit.
I assumed he had it when he did that press conference and was sweating so profusely that his hair dye was running. I then assumed they/he decided not to announce it publicly, or maybe refused to take a test and carry on regardless.
But they might feel obliged to announce it if he’s been taken to hospital.
The NY Times reported he was at the Georgetown University Medical Center, based on an unattributed source. It is not clear if he was admitted or just there for tests.
Jenna Ellis sat next to Rudy at the table at the Michigan legislature hearings Thursday. Friday she attended a White House Christmas party for senior staff.
