The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making Part Deux (Part 1)

I’ve taken to calling her Marjorie Taylor Loon.

My apologies to actual waterfowl.

“Klanne of Greene Wharrgarbls”

Stolen.

Trump can always get the ever-faithful Rudy to defend him. Rudy’s motto: “No ethics, no problem.”

Ditto.

You only get one of those if you can’t afford an attorney… and Mr. Insane Troll Logic would probably rather represent himself than imply he’s broke.

I’m stealing it too.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Two Guys Who Are Lawyers yet.

“That’s right, Jerry.”

Indeed. When he was the target of a roast, the only rule was no-one could suggest that he wasn’t as rich as he said he was:

If you click on the article you’ll see that the picture is the most vivid Trumpian lip pucker ever.

Google Image Search for “Red Assed Baboon Ass” serves up astonishingly similar imagery

There is a military coup going on in Myanmar right now. Apparently “The military, known as the Tatmadaw, charged that there was massive voting fraud in the election, though it has failed to provide proof.” Way to go Trump, you really set a shining example for the world to follow.

I expect to see headlines soon: “Trump moving to Myanmar; cites advanced state of democracy there”.

And many around the world say “Pot, kettle” in light of the actions of the President of the United States from November to January.

Losing his license could be a problem.

Latest news from Andy Borowitz:

Not an Article III procedure, so unless the Senate impeachment rules require admittance to a bar somewhere, not a problem?

And, an aside -
Cool - copy/paste of embedded quote with the “Reply” option works.

Please reassure me that is satire. It is, isn’t it? I mean, it even says “comedian” at the bottom of the article but holy crap we’ve had four years where The Onion often seemed more reasonable than the real journalists’ headlines.

Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) didn’t think former President Donald Trump truly believed his bogus election fraud claims ― and that he would accept his defeat to President Joe Biden in due time, The New York Times reported Sunday.

An inside look at the weeks preceding the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riot, fueled by Trump’s baseless assertions, showed that McConnell was “under a false impression that the president was only blustering,” the newspaper wrote, citing unnamed officials.

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and senior adviser Jared Kushner had reassured McConnell that Trump “would eventually bow to reality and accept defeat,” the paper added.

Seriously? Mitch thought this while the leopards were licking his face preparatory to taking a big bite?

He thought he was being kissed.

Maybe not but can’t the bar association in the state of his license – New York, I suppose – say, “Yanno, you’re being so dumb we don’t want you calling yourself a lawyer any more.”
