The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making Part Deux (Part 1)

He’s not wrong.

and he forgot to add “and run out of town on a rail”…which is how I remember the expression.

I apologize, but you seem to have misspelled “Hung from the nearest lamp post”.

In short: rails are too good for him, IMHO.

“À la lanterne!”

These things are always better in the original French.

How about ‘tar and whatever is in a MyPillow’ him and his family?

Especially that last line, You have done nothing for me.

Trump, the transactional president who says he doesn’t know what quid pro quo means.

Pillow fight?

He’s not wrong in that. Once he gets the quid, he rarely gives the quo.

Trump should be happy he’s not being tried for treason, or sedition at least in a regular court.

I didn’t believe that letter at face value. It sounded like a parody to me hitting all of Trump’s most recognized traits. His over the top sense of self worth, his tremendous ego, and his complaints about me, me, me! But about 1 minute of searching proved it to be true and that his people have owned it.

Yet again I feel like I’m being trolled. How can perfectly reasonable people look at a work like that and think “Wow, this man is a genius playing 4th dimensional chess”! All I see is a semi literate 6 year old throwing a temper tantrum while soiling his pants. What a cry baby!

Not yet, at least.

There are two stories circulating about why Trump has been hemorrhaging impeachment lawyers: the first is that he has insisted that the basis of his defense be that the election was stolen rather than any Constitutionality question, and the second is simply that he doesn’t want to pay decent lawyers what they cost. If either or both are true, the end result will be that he ends up with a cheap (and less competent) lawyer arguing from a delusional basis.

And thus you get that letter.

The last several years have been a daily nightmare of Poe’s Law and Trump is its living embodiment.

“Typical Trump, the only time he’ll stop speaking is when he’s under oath.”

I want Hillary to start needling him. “I spent 11 hours under oath in one day and came away exonerated. Donald can’t even do 11 seconds. What a loser.”

This is a fantastic idea.

Yeah, occasionally I need to make a stern statement to someone or other, usually my landlord, so I talk to my lawyer.

He transforms my whine into something that actually sounds professional and authoritative.

It’s not cheap, but I’m also not a self proclaimed billionaire.

Any idea how quick you can dummy up a law firm letterhead in InDesign?

Perfect for pre-legal solutions to minor infractions: “This is to inform you we will have no choice but to send a Cease-and-Desist notice if you persist in blocking others’ driveways with your garbage cans.”

it was pointed out that the paper from the lawyers regarding the impeachment refer to him as “the 45th president” even when it makes it very difficult grammatically. not one does it say “former” or “ex” president.

his letter to the union has the seal of the presidency but doesn’t have the words “former president” just his name.

looks like someone believes he is not former or ex, or will let anyone around him say or use those words.

Yet the main defense at impeachment will likely be “you can’t impeach a former president.”
