The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making Part Deux (Part 1)

Brad Pascale was just removed as head of Trump’s re-election campaign.

The campaign has no head, just a bunch of asses.

That’s too bad. I was enjoying watching him drive Trump’s campaign into a ditch.

I wonder how much money he was able to siphon from the campaign before he was removed?

And replaced with a guy who Chris Christie fired for incompetence.

Trump gone Soviet? This reminds me of the news from several days ago, that Trump called the CDC doctors a bunch of liars.

Trump is going full Josef Stalin now.

Wanting to run the Trump campaign is in itself evidence of incompetence in something

I heard earlier today that Trump had taken to doing the opposite of what Parscale advised since after the Tulsa ‘rally’.

I think that’s an introductory price. I’m paying $99 a year after the first year. I’m also paying $9.99/month for my local town paper, and I’m glad to do it. @Darren_Garrison can go fuck a bicycle, it costs a lot of money to run a newspaper, and we need the press badly.

Individual 1 is interfering with the Missouri Attorney General’s office in the investigation of the couple who brandished weapons at protesters.
Trump Intervening in Case of Missouri Mansion Couple Who Pointed Guns?

It’s one thing to interfere with federal rule of law, but now he’s essentially saying fuck all rule of law at any level.

Thanks. It does pain me that we have to pay to keep quality media in business, but it the alternative is to lose them, then I can do what I can. I support the local paper, NYT, and The New Yorker. I consider the payments a “donation” except that I actually get value from it.

Nobody expects someone to shell out if it’s not in their budget.

Gee, what could the president possibly do to affect a case like that, other than mouth off on his bully pulpit? From the article Rick_Kitchen cited:

Trump’s Must-Pardon list must be growing encyclopedically long by now!

Oh wait! That’s a State case! So what can Trump do, other than mouth off and maybe lay on some sort of pressure?

Like he wasn’t already counting on their votes?

The Governor is a MAGAt.

Maybe he’s just following Ivanka’s advice to “find something new”.

Re: That addled press conference Trump gave recently: Can’t resist posting this, which I just spotted.

Rick Wilson doesn’t mince his words. Writing at The Daily Beast:

Well, the CDC is actually a federal agency. Under the umbrella of HHS. So, the fact that ShitGibbonia cannot figure out how to put the screws to something under their own control is, well, I guess it should give us a glimmer of hope.

And anyway, there is nothing to prevent healthcare providers from bccing the Gray Lady, WaPo, cnn, worldmeterset al.

As noted by several posters in the Quarantine thread, there is nothing to compel them either. The question is, will they report to CDC in addition to HHS? My speculation is, it might depend on the political leanings of each individual state. Thus, the statistics that CDC collects could become incomplete and fragmented and unreliable.

I’m starting to think the same way. I already pay for the L.A. Times, and a few journals, but if I can afford it, it’s a good cause to support what the Washington Post has been doing.
