Trump’s team hired Israeli investigators to dig up dirt on the Obama people who worked on the Iran nuclear deal to discredit their work.
The problem is that even the uninformed have to know how horrible Trump is, simply through osmosis. They had to know he was the guy who was an asshole to everyone. They have to know he’s the guy who is in perpetual scandal, even if they don’t know anything about the scandals. He’s brought up on all their TV shows. No one in my family follows politics, but they know how bad Trump is.
What’s more, people who only care about how things affect them are horrible people. Your value as a human being is based on how much you care about other people. The minimum to be a decent person is to care about everyone else as much as you care about yourself. The definition of evil is just people who are willing to harm others for their own gain (including their own pleasure).
People like to excuse these voters, but they don’t deserve it. It’s up to us to mobilize and outvote them, while hoping to awaken those who just don’t realize what they’re doing. (People are really bad at introspection.)

Trump complains that “Mueller was an 8-year Obama man” and the FBI team investigating him is “all Democrats.” Both statements are lies. Mueller was appointed FBI Director by GWB and served more than 7 years under him. He joined the private sector in 2013. And there were several Republicans on the FBI team investigating Trump including Robert Mueller(R) himself.

They don’t follow politics, but do they vote Democrat or even identify as Democrat? In my experience, those who support Trump both identify as Republican and are firmly convinced that Ms. Clinton has more scandals attached to her than Trump has to him. The fools either don’t think he’s bad or simply don’t care he’s bad because they believe Ms. Clinton is worse.
I still don’t understand why such people continue to embarrass themselves in their attempts to pretend Trump’s not a failure. Why not just admit he’s a shit president but they support him anyway because he’s making the scary brown people with the wrong religion go away?
Not to worry. After all, Mexico is going to pay for the wall and, astute business man that he is, Trump won’t push for starting on it until funding is secured, right?

Isn’t it strange that Mexico funding the wall was his #1 promise to his suckers, and now that Americans are being asked to pay, not a single Trump supporter says: “Hey wait a minute, I thought Mexico was paying.”
Trump supporters don’t care in part because they’ve always believed that the federal government doesn’t do anything for them, so Trump’s complete jackassery is nothing to be concerned about from their perspective. In fact, it’s probably a welcomed sight.
It was never about making Mexico pay for it; it was about building a Wall. Making Mexico pay for it would be a bonus, but even if that never happens, Trump can simply claim that Mexico paid for it - somehow - and his supporters would probably buy it. In the end, in their minds, Mexico will pay for the wall. Whether they actually do or not probably doesn’t matter.
