The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Need more than a single photo op to qualify for the Nobel Peace Prize. Trump somehow thinks that’s all which is required. Whilst trump instigated all the bellicose verbiage about war, and Kim showed off his technology, I will give trump credit for de-escalating that which he escalated.

this is the essence of trump. create a crisis which only he can fix.

If anyone is actually driving towards peace, it is S Korean President Moon.

My S Korean friends in S Korea thinks President Moon has big brass ones. No sooner than he touches down back in S Korea, after his big meeting with Trump in Washington, to learn that trump called off the summit. President Moon called Kim, then drove to the border, crossed over and had an impromptu meet with Kim to get shit back on track.

The separation of families at the border is Stephen Miller’s pet idea.

be put.

Name me a country that’s going to nuke Russia without massive provocation.

Russians are already suffering economically; it’s the West that has the farthest to fall. Putin’s subjects are already getting by, but Putin’s regime is rich. Putin survives by convincing Russians that the outside world is out to screw Russia and that he’s defending their “Russian-hood”

We have no choice but to fight for the soul of our society, but we have to remember our better angels and show restraint where possible.

Sound familiar

It’s a little late in the day to argue that Trump will ever be held back due to being unqualified.

I take solace in the thought that the Nobel committee is nowhere near as stupid as our fellow Americans.

Rather a low bar to clear, innit?

Good luck with that… I note your recent warnings due to lack of restraint. Not that I blame you, I agree (mostly) with the sentiments you expressed, though expressing them as you did, in the forums you did, did show that they had managed to troll you into a state of forgetting your better angels.

It is hard to show restraint when your opponent doesn’t. It is hard to fight fair when your opponent doesn’t.

A fair fight is a fight we can lose. They aren’t looking for a fair fight, we shouldn’t be expecting one, nor expecting to win one.

Well, they did give it to Obama for accomplishment of not being Bush. Surely there was someone more deserving (and I say this as an Obama fan).

There’s gotta be more than one coming in 2021 for whoever isn’t Trump.

The Trump Rip-Children-From-Their-Mother’s-Arms Policy was the brainchild of Stephen Miller and implemented by Jeff Sessions. But everybody hates it. It’s universally condemned by everyone who doesn’t owe their job to Trump (silence from Congressional Republicans, of course).

So how does Trump defend his policy? By stating that he hates it too, but blames it on the Democrats.

This is just to confirm what we already know: not only is he an evil, lying bastard, but he’s a gutless coward, too.

Chris Johnson, reporter for the Washington Blade, the only gay newspaper with White House credentials, contends that Sarah Huckster routinely ignores him when he tries to ask her questions during her press briefings.

Trump urges the Washington Post’s employees to go on strike to get rid of “Fake News”.

I’d have to say that’s quite an inaccurate portrayal of the event.

Acting like his hands are tied by some imaginary Democratic legislation is just weak looking and embarrassing.

Melania’s thoughts when apartment hunting?

If there’s, say, two, I’m sure the walking 4-chan of a president* will want both. Or maybe Stephen “gaslight by high school janitors” Miller might vie for one or two of 'em.

Actually a Sam Bee appellation, to give credit where it’s due.

It’s not unfair though to say that he got it mostly for intentions, and wouldn’t have been awarded it if not for the contrast with Bush-era US politics.
