Pretty sure that was a riff on the conservative belief that those separated kids on TV are liberal-funded actors. I wouldn’t read anything else into it unless Mijin is a known Trumpeteer.

I spent the last hour writing emails and making phone calls to my Congresspeople and to the Nevada Governors office demanding, not asking, that they work to stop this and stop it now.

If I knew where a facility was in the Las Vegas area, I’d be outside with a picket sign right now. IMO Americans who care should stop head over to these places and demand some accountability.

I hope this doesn’t run afoul of board rules, but MoveOn.org is organizing protests across the country for Saturday, June 30 (Families Belong Together—Attend a June 30 Event! | MoveOn.org). I wish they were sooner, like today. But I’m signed up to go whenever they are.

I was riffing on 1) conservatives’ dismissals of the kneeling NFL players being against soldiers, the flag, and I guess, Jesus and 2) the repeated, nonsensical, accusation of “liberals” using paid protesters and “crisis actors”.
Cos’ no-one could possibly have any beef with policy.

I have a seven year old boy and four year old girl. And for the past several days, I just keep imagining men with guns taking them away without telling me where they’re going or when – of if – I will ever see them again. I dropped my son off at camp today and almost burst into tears.

And 1/3 of Americans think this is OK. Jesus.

I think of it as being akin to the serial killer telling the police, “It’s your fault because you didn’t stop me. You knew I was out there cutting people into bits, but you let me do it. This is on you!”

A child-killing pedo once explained his actions along those lines. He said he loves children and wants to show them how much he cares. But society has twisted his love into something vile and illegal, and if brainwashed people knew about it he would be in grave danger. Therefore he has to make sure that those sweet, sweet children will never tell anybody about the love they received.

Either his EO fixes the problem, which is good and also exposes Trumpian lies and hypocrisy; or it doesn’t fix the problem, which means: Trump still has a problem.

About the canceled picnic - If I was a Republican congressman, the LAST place I would want to be is out in a park in the daylight. The optics are perhaps just a bit too good.

The damage is already done. There are already kids separated from parents who will never see each other again.

I’m not a religious person, but I know pure evil when I see it. This “administration” personifies it. There is no decency in anything they do or have ever done. The demise of this clusterfuck can’t come soon enough.
