I, for one, am looking forward to Trump’s summit with the leader of the Taliban.
Although I cannot help but think of them as deluded fools, I can at least sympathize somewhat with the MAGA-heads who apparently feel in such danger of being left by the roadside of a changing society that they would pin all their hopes for a viable future on Donald Fucking Trump.
After Trump’s ludicrous performance today in Helsinki, however, how, at long last, can even the most sincere Trump fanboi seriously support this absolute fucking chowderhead? What possible benefit to US interests and security could possibly be served by ignoring a large, clear and growing body of evidence that Russia carried out multiple covert operations intended to help throw the election to Trump? Surely the answer has to be none.
I’m not necessarily going to join the Treason train, but at this point the most charitable spin one could possibly put on this is that Trump is so pathetically insecure about the slimness of his election victory that he simply cannot admit to even a remote possibility that some part of his vote was not earned legitimately. It does seem far more likely, however, that there is something else more serious and sinister going on here.

-the tax cut is reducing real wages by about 2% this year
And yes, that’s horrible. Horrible things that have happened. In the meantime, Trump has said 1000s of moronic things. And people keep running here “Oh no, Trump said something horrible!” Complain about actual things that happened, not the idiotic statements of a buffoon, that’s all I’m saying.

I watched a little bit, too. I didn’t make it through 10 minutes though. I caught the end of Hannity, it was pretty much all harping about the DNC server thing by then. And some nasty stuff about Strzok and Page
But he and Laura Instagram- I can’t remember her name and I can’t be arsed to look it up - seem to be promoting the story that Trump was big and strong and forceful with Putin during the private meeting, and made it clear that he needed to stop the cyberwarfare. And he made it clear that he, Donald J Trump, was the boss and this country is a safer place tonight because of the resolute strength and shining brilliance exhibited by Donald Trump during the private meeting.
Then, because he’s a charming and gracious man, Trump immediately went up on stage and let Putin mount and fuck him like a dog while he (Trump) blithered like an idiot about Hillary and her servers, then praised the idea of turning over an innocent American citizen to Russia’s secret police. The whole act was cleverly devised as a reward to Putin for taking his sound spanking from Trump like a man. Trump let Putin come out as the public winner because he’s a brilliant strategist and a kind man.
Then they turned to the bias of the left. Obama was nice to Putin and no one ever accused him of treason. Then they played a montage of clips of Obama talking to Putin without hitting him as proof of their rightness. Then I turned off the TV.

Trump’s schedule for tomorrow has a single item: a meeting with members of Congress at 2:00 PM. No one seems to know what the topic of the meeting is.
The topic of the meeting is “enjoy these photos of yourself and this Novichok tea.”
