It seems odd that someone who is getting their face eaten off by a leopard would be holding a “Leopards who eat people’s faces 2020!” sign, until you realize that the disappointment isn’t that the leopards are eating faces, and it’s not even the betrayal of having their own face eaten. What it is is that they think that by supporting the leopards, they themselves will become leopards, and then they will get to eat other people’s faces.

According to the Wapo quoted via Salon because of WaPo’s premium page, it didn’t literally turn around because it has to refuel, but DHS has stated that they will comply and the mother & daughter will be returned to the US immediately.

**These could very well be the coolest words I’ve read since the election. You know the one.
In case anyone is interestedhere are the logos. I think they all look pretty hokey except for maybe the second to last one (above Mars awaits). All but the first one either have space shuttles (which have been discontinued) or unrealistic little rocketships with an outsized window that would have gone out of style in the 50’s. Its like designing a logo for the navy and including this. More realistic would be to show a satellite.
The Mars Awaits one looks to me like a sci-fi/horror movie poster with this giant maw ready to gobble up this little spaceship, and an ominous message.
