The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

I said this before, but not very clearly. The want to regulate immigration based on “merit”. Let the applicants who are worthy, based on, oh, you know, the OWQ (Objective Worthiness Quotient). So, once we have established a pattern of ranking people according to their OWQ index, it will become second nature to start in with the meritoriousness of everyone.

Yes, I admit, that looks like slippery-slopery. Sorry, I guess I am just paranoid – and something seems to be causing my manageable paranoia to metastasize out of control. No idea what might be behind that.

Yes, she is…very much so. Like me and so many of our fellow citizens, she is deeply disappointed in the about-30-percent of our other fellow citizens who have revealed their true (ahem) colors these past two years…but we’re still stalwart and hopeful we’ll all weather this storm somehow (the arc of the moral universe and all that…).

Mitch McConnell’s wife and Trump cabinet member Elaine Chao is a Chinese immigrant. Technically, she immigrated from Taiwan but her family is Chinese. Deep cover spy, maybe? She sure managed to insert herself into the highest levels of government. And she honey-trapped a turtle.

Cool, I just invented a conspiracy theory! I didn’t even know where this was going when I started typing. There are no coincidences.

Unless proposition 304 passes, and we all pray it will.

Forget about best financial interests: how about voting for Trump when your wife is an illegal immigrant, and then you’re SHOCKED that Trump deports your wife!

When a Trump supporter’s wife is deported

It’s behind Washington Post paywall, so here’s a summary:

  1. Wife is an illegal immigrant from Mexico, having re-entered the country after being caught in the US illegally; second entry in these circumstances is a felony;

  2. Wife gets arrested in 2013 by ICE, and they advise that she is subject to deportation, but there is an amnesty / deferral in place under Obama;

  3. Trump campaigns on deporting ALL illegal immigrants in the US, especially criminals from from Mexico;

  4. Husband, a US citizen, votes for Trump in 2016 (ie three years after his wife’s status comes to the attention of ICE), because he wants “change”;

  5. ICE deports wife, on basis she is an illegal immigrant who committed a felony, so not just an illegal immigrant, but has committed a felony;

  6. Husband is SHOCKED! That’s not the kind of change he thought Trump would bring.
    It’s a sad story, but there just aren’t enough :smack: :smack: :smack: :smack: aimed at the husband.

That’s not a sad story. Fuck that guy, he is getting exactly want he wanted. It’s a story about #winning

I’m sure he still supports Trump even though it broke up his family. After all, Hillary Clinton was threatening the country with a public health care system and had to be stopped.

Don’t forget about those emails, too!

And Benghazi. #neverforget

Yeah, fuck that guy. And his wife is an illegal immigrant, so her life being destroyed is just the way it is, she’s either irrelevant or she deserved to be deported. I mean, it’s never sad that someone suffers consequences of their illegal actions, no matter the motivation for them.

But he’s a veteran!

Sorry, it annoys me that they included that several times, even though it has shot-all to do with the situation.

Well, there’s how all these years of idolatrous lip service about The Troops may have convinced the couple that The Man would not dare do it to THEM…

…and of course The Boss meant deporting rapist and Bad Hombres, didn’t he?

Like I said on an earlier post, at some point it goes through availing yourself of social benefits results in some level of civil disenfranchisement. But of course wanna bet farm subsidies will be just fine and dandy…

No, it’s not sad that the guy voted for Trump and now is getting exactly what he voted for. He should be happy. Sucks for the wife, but she married that dumb ass.

Someone here had a line that covers this, but I don’t know who to attribute it to: “I never thought the leopards would eat my face.” said the person who voted for the “Leopards eating your face” party.

And, it’s apparently more important for *him *to stay in the US than to stay with his wife and family.

And she was going to convert all the Christian churches to mosques!

Maybe it was a multi-year plan to get rid of his family and blame it on Trump?

It seems, from what I can tell, to have originated in this tweet.

Actually, it is relevant. According to the story, ICE didn’t take steps to deport her when they first arrested her in 2013 because

So it’s Obama’s fault. If he hadn’t been coddling military family illegals, this would have been all over with years ago.

The article says he’s a naturalised citizen, but it doesn’t say if he has Mexican citizenship. He could have been born elsewhere. If he doesn’t have Mexican citizenship, he may not have a right to live in Mexico.
