I’d rather have a competent evil President than an incompetent evil President. Trump might actually destroy the country through sheer stupidity. Pence, for all his faults, will keep the country functioning. So whatever damage he does can be undone.
Besides we’re already getting most of the evil that we’d get from a Pence administration anyway. What do you think Pence, McConnell, and Ryan are quietly doing while Trump is tweeting whatever stray thought wanders through his brain? They’re enacted a right wing dream agenda and making sure that those laws stay on his desk to get signed.
