The “ten minute” theory is being much-discussed this week: Trump resigning ten minutes before his term ends, giving Pence the chance to pardon him.
But…would Pence do it? No doubt he’s currently assuring Trump that he would.
But that doesn’t mean that at that crucial moment, he might not turn to Donald and say “Jesus came to me and told me not to pardon you—sorry.”
