The state legislature did NOT say that. ONE state legislator said it, in a hearing where lawmakers were discussing a potential state ban on abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy. The bill that they were debating does not make any mention of forcing women to carry a dead fetus to term. A legislator and a legislature are not the same thing.
I’m on your side in many of this board’s political debates, and i think that the attempt to restrict abortion rights in Iowa is reprehensible. But it sometimes seems like you’re so obsessed with being the first to post about every political outrage, large or small, that you don’t take the time to actually read your stories, and you end up misrepresenting them.

If this were the first time you went off half-cocked on these stories, i’d be happy to chalk it up to a typo. But this is a symptom of the bigger issue: your obsession with posting every small or large outrage, whether it’s relevant to the discussion or not.
