The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

disconnect

Huckabeast: It was out of respect for our President that world leaders observed a moment of silence during Vice President Pence’s speech in Munich.

(this was taken from an image of a tweet by Jeremy Newberger, so I cannot vouch for its accuracy)

If any Wall gets built using Trump’s “national emergency” funds, the next Democratic president should immediately have it torn down. Just like Trump has done to anything Obama tried to accomplish.

Of course the MAGAts will just see it as proof that Democrats want open borders so all those drugs and thugs and duct-taped wimmin can be snuck across.

WHOA!!

<speechless>

I think this was satire on the Twitter poster’s part, but it says something when one can’t tell the difference between satire and actual press releases from the Trump White House.

That was some weird shit.” – G. W. Bush

Yeah, this is unfamiliar territory. Where is Rod Serling when you need him?

We do appear to be reaching a state of perfect Poe.

Gotta call this new reality the Poeverton Window: When Political Discourse Merges with the Purely Satiric

Well, I’ll bet if someone told thump that that was the meaning of “dead silence/no applause” he’d believe it.

Pretty sure his administration will tell him just about anything to avoid toddler temper tantrums.

Perhaps it was a moment of silence for the Late Great USofA. They were morning our passing.

There is the precedent from Sanders when Trump was laughed at by the UN when he claimed his administration had accomplished more than any other.

IIRC, Sanders was claiming the assembly was laughing with Trump, not at him.

True. But many of them are increasingly bothered by, er, what they’re swallowing. Many of them, for example, will be facing constituents directly affected by the proposed cuts to military construction projects and Homeland Security.

As of now the votes still seem to be in flux to some extent. It’s a numbers game in the sense that if enough Republicans sense they’ll have cover for voting against Trump, then they might just vote against Trump. Never bet against herd instinct.

In Congress, maybe. In the courts–that’s less certain.

What about all those prayer rugs? You seem to be okay with that, you traitor! (That would be joking, for the humor-impaired.)

Isn’t that what you’re supposed to tell a toddler to stop their tantrum when someone’s laughing at them?

Trump is a toddler and it seems that all his lackeys and surrogates realize that when they are on TV, they are being/are going to be watched by their primary audience of one and that’s who they’re really performing for.

But I’m sure a lot of his base also believes their bullshit. Did Fox play the UN video of Trump being laughed at? How many of his base would look for the video on their own?

One guy I know kept on denying that Trump had assaulted any woman ever. He thought the “pussy grabbing” tape was Trump bragging about “getting some pussy” because he had never bothered to listen to it himself.

It was FAKE NEWS to him.

Now you are channeling Ronnie
It’s mourning in America

Gee, like a president bragging about “getting some pussy” is totally acceptable, right? :smack:

After Rubio made fun of Trump’s small hands, Trump wanted to make sure everyone knew there was no size problem “down there” (or whatever he actually said).
Classy. And since we know Trump is all about psychological projection, the opposite must be true. It’s really a tiny mushroom. Or, possibly a baby carrot. Whichever salad additive it is, it’s probably the cause of his massive insecurity and overcompensation for everything, including his belief he’s an expert on any subject.

And that reminds me. I just saw this meme:

If McCabe cared about justice more than he cared about himself, he would let Mueller do his work. Instead, he injects himself into the most important news story of our time and potentially serves as a distraction from the real work Mueller does. In fact, he potentially discredits that work. He does so knowingly.

Hate to say it but McCabe and Comey are both…showboats.

I think when the president calls you a liar it’s OK to defend yourself.

Maybe, but how does McCabe’s tell-all book help Mueller, and how does it help the general public?
