It goes on in a vein that we’re all familiar with, having said the same thing many times. And BTW, God bless her, because the Trumpniks aren’t going to read it anywhere else. Not that they’ll believe her.
But FOX NEWS?
My question is, how long after writing this was she fired?
I saw that too, Thelma. I was actually educated by something on Fox for once. I did not realize that declaring an emergency at the border gives the president the power to detain anyone. Anyone. And deploy troops anywhere. Anywhere.:eek:
It is rather horrifying actually. If Senate Republicans don’t veto this, I may just assume that the civil war is on and that they want it. All because they want no taxes on the wealthy and for those mean educated types to quit treating carbon just like Jews were under the Nazis- remember how Hitler’s men would dig up Jews who had been in the ground for hundreds of millions of years and fling them into the atmosphere? :smack:
Yeah, they want to throw away reason, throw away all democratic protections and turn this place into an oligarchy all right. Thanks, Fox and Limbaugh et al, for miseducating a whole generation of rednecks and dumb shits to get us to this point!
Ms. Marsh, as the byline below the article states, is a **Democratic **political analyst for FOX News. She also contributes to The Boston Globe, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Politico, AP, The Times of London and USA Today.
My guess is that she’s written her last column for FOX.
Marsh has written lots of columns for Fox News, and for the last two years they have largely been heavily critical of the POTUS. That’s not particularly unusual. Publishing anti-GOP editorials on its website allows FN to claim that it’s “fair and balanced.” It’s like MSNBC hiring Pat Buchanan (not that I think Fox and MSNBC are equivalent). When Marsh gets a primetime talking head show, that will be news.
They probably let her office in a hermetically sealed cubicle/bubble with her own coffee pot and separate entrance (and bathroom). Don’t want her contaminating the place.
After reading the replies, I get that she’s the token/figurehead Democrat, but I wonder if they actually expected her to write any meaty, substantial criticism of Der Trumpster?
MSNBC — Joe Scarborough used to be a a Republican congressman. Nicolle Wallace held a senoir position in the GWB Administration and worked on Jong McCain’s presidental campaign.
Fox- Shepard Smith is known for pushing back against all the right wing talking points, sometimes with the help of Judge Napolitano.
And these are all people with regular programs, not just contributors.
