And the Senate makes it official: Trump’s emergency is a sham. In the end 12 Republican Senators voted for the resolution! I’m suprised, but pleased, that so many did the right thing. That makes it, what, 59 to 41? What would it take to get another 8 onboard with a veto override?
Something I haven’t heard anyone else mention: Isn’t an emergency by definition something that needs immediate action? How is a decades-long boondoggle addressing this farce?
