The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Enjoy the cake, peoples, the meat might make you sick.

“Violations found just days before the state visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe included failure to use proper parasite destruction on fish intended to be served raw or undercooked, the Herald reported, quoting the inspection report. Inspectors ordered that the fish be cooked immediately or tossed out.
Inside the broken coolers, inspectors found raw meats meant to be stored at 41 degrees that were potentially dangerously warm, including ham at 57 degrees, raw beef at 50 degrees, duck at 50 degrees and chicken at 49 degrees, the newspaper said.”

Thank you. I was waiting for that.

BBC detailing several course corrections in the past day or so, including that the President has made NATO great again:

Gosh, that didn’t take hardly any time at all:

The cake is a lie.

LOL, whoops! Ninja’d by bobot. Never mind.

Can’t we just get rid of all those pesky food safety regulations that keep restaurants from making a profit?

So we just dropped the Mother of All Bombs on Afghanistan.

I hope this isn’t the beginning of a “We have it, we might as well use it” military strategy.

So Trump may have already started biological warfare against China with that beautiful chocolate cake.
Putin should definetely throw few missiles to Mar-a-Lago.

This.
People have been dining at Mar-A-Lago for years. Have you ever heard of anyone complain that they got sick dining there?

Ukulele Ike’s link on previous page ( Miami Herald ):

It seems that as a germaphobe Trump indeed is competent.

People get sick every day and most get better. But regulations make the economy sick and what’s the poor employer to do who has to fret over safety of his customers and employees at the cost of getting richer and thus supposedly creating jobs?

I just read that and have a sickly uneasy feeling. I don’t care about ISIS, but things are starting to feel frightening.

Seriously? One bomb is going to change things? If this halfwit is going to lob missiles and bombs every time his poll numbers suck, then three are going to be a lot of bombs going off. Afghanistan is ungovernable. Just pull out.

I dunno, I’m as anti-Trump as the next guy, but dropping a giant bomb on some remote mountainous region of Afghanistan to destroy caves/tunnels doesn’t really bother me. What are they supposed to use, grenades?

Remember when the right was warning us against Hillary? She’s a hawk! She’ll get us into a war! America first! America first!

Then this shit. Fifty-nine Cruise missiles, the Mother of all Bombs (which you fucking well know as well as I he chose as an option because of the name) on top of mistakenly killing eighteen US backed fighters in Syria. Oh yeah. Good thing we didn’t elect Hillary. Fuck, the world probably would have blown up by now.

Nice job rubes.

My concern, and has been since Trump got elected, is that he wants to use all the toys in the arsenal.

I don’t think he’s gonna authorize ICBMs, or start a nuclear war with another nuclear power, but given his cavalier ignorance about “the nuclear” during the campaign, and his lack of learning anything since, I have real concerns about him using low yield “tactical” nukes on the battle field.

From a pragmatic point of view, there is nothing wrong with tactical nukes, they don’t have all that much fallout (compared to a strategic strike anyway), they aren’t devastating for miles around, but they do hit the target you are aiming for a mite bit harder than a conventional warhead can.

From a diplomatic or political point of view (which are two things that trump does not do well) nukes of any kind are a terrible idea. Once you use a nuke of any size on the battlefield, it opens the door for nuclear escalation.

Me neither. What bothers me ishis comments about it:

“If you look at what’s happened over the last eight weeks and compare that, really, to what’s happened over the last eight years, you’ll see there’s a tremendous difference. Tremendous difference.”

How petty and insecure can Trump be? Why does he have to include a smear against Obama or Hillary or both, every time he opens his mouth?

And because I’m too lazy to put this in a separate post: the Trump administration has been all over the map about the effect of the Syria strike. They’ve said it destroyed 20 planes, they’ve said it destroyed 20% of Syria’s air force, they’ve said it destroyed 20% of Syria’s operational air force, etc.

When are we going to have eight congressional hearings about why they said different things in the first few days of after-attack confusion?

I know, apples and oranges. It’s much easier to read the minds of a Libyan crowd than to count the number of planes you’ve hit.

No, they should have used a bomb that actually works for what they were aiming at: "It was unclear what the GBU-43 strike accomplished, as the bomb is not designed to penetrate hardened targets such a bunkers or cave complexes. "

I repeat:

Or just because it’s the biggest and baddest bomb in our arsenal.

So what if it is entirely ineffective in the way it was deployed, they got to drop their biggest toy.
