The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

The timing screams out that during the discussions on how to bomb [del]Iraq[/del] Syria, he selected Tomahawks a la carte off the Pentagon appetizer menu, but saw for the first time “MOAB” in the entrée section and just had to taste it.

Just hope he avoids anything on the menu listed at “Market Price.”

What? Do you think that he’ll start dropping payloads of Mar-a-lago’s spoiled seafood?

Seriously though, that interview about the missiles and cake chilled my blood. This fucker can’t get impeached fast enough.

If he thinks MOABs are scary, wait till he sees a BFB or a ZOMG.

I remember when we hated Nixon with the hot heat of a million O-class supergiants. I kind of miss that asshole. At least he was a conservative (meaning, way to the fucking left of where these Republiopath bog-splats are).

1.) The M.O.A.B. was brought to Afghanistan as a potential weapon some time ago. It was the commanding general in Afghanistan, John Nicholson, who ultimately decided to use it, dubbing it the “right munition” to maintain the offensive against ISIS. My guess is the guy knows what he’s talking about.
2.) The Tomahawk missiles against the Assad regime’s airfield was a justified, proportionate response to Assad’s decision to gas his people with impunity, resulting in 80+ deaths including women and children. This doesn’t mean Trump will seek a war with the Assad regime with military boots on the ground; the focus is still on ISIS, but Trump will use military force against the Assad regime when the situation calls for it. Rex Tillerson recently affirmed this, saying that defeating ISIS is still the Number One priority. This isn’t a deviation from Trump’s “America First” rhetoric at all.
3.) The 18 Kurdish-Arab coalition allies in Syria who perished as a result of the military dropping an airstrike on it that was meant for ISIS fighters is tragic. But it was actually their own fault, as they gave the military the wrong coordinates for the target. It was definitely not the result of incompetent by the U.S. military, or by Trump.

I see we still have Trumpologists…

Ah, changing the subject, I see. You didn’t address any of the points I raised, presumably because you know you have nothing substantive to say that would refute them, and resorted to an ad hominem attack. Pity.

Fuck off, Trumpie.

Thanks for proving my point, again.

When you have the Prime Minister of the sovereign nation of Exxon, who currently deigns to serve as our Sec State, your faith is bolstered. Mine, however, is not.

Have we a body count? Some tangible evidence of enemy combatants rendered into crispy critters? Radical Islamic lizards, or scorpions with connections to ISIS? I am of mature years, having heard decades of lies from men with very short hair who decorate their clothing with metallic objects.

Your faith is your own, and welcome to it.

What’s wrong with Exxon?

The bomb destroyed an ISIS stronghold, a complex cave and tunnel system. That was the objective. We don’t know whether ISIS fighters were killed or not, but the compound’s destruction was the objective in the end, and it was achieved.

wut

Nor is it a deviation from what Hillary Clinton might have done, but my god we would be hearing howls of outrage if that happened. It is, of course, a huge deviation from what Trump suggested was a wise course when Obama was in charge.

Can I have another piece of chocolate cake?
Tammy Baker’s got a lot on her plate
Can I buy another cheap Picasso fake?
Andy Warhol must be laughing in his grave

Can I buy another slice of real estate?
Liberace must be laughing in his grave

Crowded House, “Chocolate Cake”

Isn’t that Clothahump’s line?

What was Trump’s proposed policy on the middle east, Syria in particular, during the election?

Bonus question: which relevant 2017 politician attacked Obama for threatening strikes against Assad for chemical attacks back in 2013?

Cultural appropriation.

Gotcha. It’s been Trumped. That means that Trump isn’t responsible because Obama or Past or Yesterday or Yabba Dabba Doo or Etc. The important thing is to assign responsibility to someone, anyone, that isn’t Trump. Yeah, that’s a familiar Republican strategy called “Trumped”.

[quote=“TonySinclair, post:3317, topic:774070”]

How petty and insecure can Trump be? Why does he have to include a smear against Obama or Hillary or both, every time he opens his mouth?

This, a thousand times this.

You’re assuming I care enough about your opinion (or that of any Trumpie) to be bothered by that…well, riposte, for lack of a better term.
