The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

This.

He ordered the bomb to be used for the same reason he does EVERYTHING, namely, to please his constituents. To (attempt to) prove that he’s big and strong and tough. He did it for appearances–HIS appearance. To make a splash. He has no goal, no plan, no policy. He has never had any and never will. He can only think one minute ahead. He never makes any decision with an eye to effectiveness. He wouldn’t know or recognize effectiveness if it grabbed him by the balls. Oh, wait–

Trump finds out that dealing with North Korea is not easy.

I really think he believes that no one before him has ever realized these things. Every time he decides something is hard, it’s like he and no one else has figured this out. It’s just mind boggling how he could be so uninformed about everything.

That would totally ruin the spray tan and comb over he’s got going on down there.

Bloom County did a good strip on this - apologies for the link to Facebook - can’t find it elsewhere.

It’s oddly satisfying to see Assad go the whole ‘fake news’ line about the chemical attacks that instigated the US missile strike.

It’s the Dunning-Kruger effect. He’s too ignorant to appreciate the depth of his ignorance.

At what point do we start hearing “Oh, go trump yourself”, “trump off”, stuff like that? Should be pretty soon.

Fake America Huge Again ?

Well, well, what do you know. Trump’s MOAB strike in Afghanistan was on fucking point. 36 ISIS foot soldiers were killed in the blast. Trump meant it when he said he would bomb the shit out of ISIS.

Hey genius, I fixed your link for you. Hint…It has to be EXACTLY right you can’t put the http in twice

Also, inspectors discovered a large mass of orange slime mold slithering around the dining area.

thanks, stupid iPhone

1 mile blast radius, only 36 dead? Did they warn them first too?

At $16 mill a pop, killing one ISIS soldier costs $444k.

This does not seem sustainable.

Still more sustainable than all the Big Orange Asshole’s vacation getaways.

No, dismissing your claim because of your views relevant to your argument is not an ad hominem attack.

Saying, for example, “Your claim about Trump is untrustworthy because you’re one of those stupid ground-beef-sandwich fans” would be an ad hominem attack. Saying “Your claim about Trump is untrustworthy because you’re a Trump apologist” is not.

We get a lot of special-snowflake Trumpologists passing through here who like to claim that any criticism of their positions is an “ad hominem attack” and therefore illegitimate. But that’s just another of the “alternative facts” that they tend to be so fond of.

“The bad carpenter blames his tools.” - Jesus.

(I think.)

It’s okay to admit it. This kind of thing makes you all turgid in your trousers.

But what was the military objective in dropping the bomb? Did the generals sit around and decide that killing 3 dozen low level cannon fodder foot soldiers would be a major step in defeating ISIS and then take expensive steps to achieve that goal? Somehow I don’t think so.

Or did they want to destroy the extensive tunnel complex? Now, that might be a worthwhile goal. But did they? Or did they fail and redefine the mission as a success based on the results?
