Individual 1’s choice for UN Secretary is current Ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft. Her husband is coal magnate Joseph Craft. When EPA regulators sent her, the Ambassador, an email about her work on cleaning up the Great Lakes, they got a reply from her husband, apparently on a joint account they share.

Speaking to a group called Latinos for Trump (!), Mike Pence mentioned the Democrats. We have a President and VP either tolerating or outright encouraging violence against political enemies. We have a state’s Republican party encouraging paramilitaries to attack democrats. We have open white supremacists in various elected and appointed positions of power. And we have concentration camps.

I’m terrified and hopeless.
Pence wasn’t just speaking to a Latino group; it’s a group created by Trump/Pence/GOP to make it seem like Trump has Latino support.
Like so much else with these folks, it’s a lie.
I’d love to have a citation in my pocket for that.

I fear for a time in the not too distant future, when GOP apologists are here telling us stuff like:

The actual chant from the linked article was “Lock them in cages that they built!” which is significant, because this seems to be the new party line. Based on Trump’s gish-gallop remarks today, the story about the border is:

He wants to spend money making it better but those mean old Democrats in Congress won’t do anything.
And the problem was much worse under Obama. All this kids-in-detention stuff started during the Obama Administration, but Trump is working to make it better.
