The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

I’ll do my part!

Sooo…he’s saying that LYING is not free speech? Well, then! :dubious:

Another chance for an Acting Cabinet Secretary! Win!

"… So to me, free speech is not when you see something good and then you purposely write bad. To me, that’s very dangerous speech, and you become angry at it. But that’s not free speech.”

I can’t even begin to imagine what examples he thinks of that would constitute “something good” about his time in office. I know he’s frustrated that people don’t write about how great he is more often, but I’m at a loss for examples of him actually doing “something good.”

He got bump-stocks banned. But that pales in comparison to all the gun control laws passed during the Obama Administration.

Caught some Fox “news” last night where a panel was discussing the census and how the citizenship question would not be on it now. They seemed to have a hard time understanding how asking that innocent question is problem. Why, it’s been asked in the past and nobody complained. Yeah, in 1950. But now, in Trump’s America? How disingenuous are you folks? And to prove that point, without them showing any self-awareness, this segment was followed by a discussion on the ICE raids to happen this weekend.

Faux viewers think the question and the raids are wonderful.

Yeah, I know. But I also know that the panel knows exactly what’s going on and they put on this show. Sometimes it’s hard to wrap my head around people being so blatantly dishonest. But that’s what I get for checking in with Fox.

“Gorka and other far-right media personalities were given choice seats for Trump’s brief Rose Garden event in which he announced he’s giving up his quest to add a citizenship question to the census but will try to gather citizenship information by other means. Right after it ended, Gorka strode up to Playboy reporter Brian Karem, a fixture of the White House press corps who at times has been an outspoken critic of the Trump administration, and called him a “punk.”
“You’re not a journalist — you’re a punk!” Gorka yelled.
“And for the record, he would kick your punk ass,” another summit attendee said to Karem, as others chanted “Gor-ka! Gor-ka!” …”

Idiocracy was too optimistic. Time for a gritty reboot.

A slimy reboot.

My kid was in the same graduating H.S. class as Gorka’s kid. Pretty much everyone in the class thought the kid was as big an a-hole as his father. I saw Gorka at the graduation and he is just as repulsive a toad in person as you would imagine. I’d have happily punched him in the mouth given the excuse to do so. Loathsome fucking troll.

He feigned outrage today, along the lines of “He’s Hispanic! And went to Harvard! I thought you people loved that stuff!”

Just watch Fox & Friends; they’ll fill you in.

The federal government is running out of money because of Individual 1’s tax cuts, and the Secretary of Treasury is trying to get Nancy Pelosi to raise the debt ceiling. Isn’t that on the Republicans who refuse to vote to raise the debt ceiling?

I don’t think we can leave Anthony Scaramucci off the list. I know the Mooch was only part of the Trump administration for ten days but it was fun to watch this Trump wannabee crash. It proved that even Donald Trump doesn’t like himself when his personality is present in another body.

Mooch is there.

Read today that Trump in the last week has overtaken Ford for number of days as President of the United States.

Given how benign Ford was and how bombastic Trump is it took me a little aback that 45 has only just passed 38.
