If there are 21,000 people but only 18,000 eggs, that doesn’t sound like “without a hitch”. Didn’t some people complain about not having eggs to roll, which sounds like it’s the point of the exercise? I couldn’t find egg figures and attendance for previous years on a quick look, but the article says 35,000 rather than 37,000 attended last year. If they had 85,000 eggs it seems to make sense.
Your quip about DeVos doing the math I can understand, but why didn’t the Post say anything about the Great Egg Shortage? Or is it just that the parents don’t count? If Spicer said 18,000 is in line with previous years, but last year they had 85,000, is that a case of Spicer being Spicer?
Oh, come on! This is such a minor thing. You never saw conservatives riding Obama about that kind of thing, did you? Let’s focus on the important issues.
Eighteen thousand, eighty thousand, they sound so similar. It would be an easy mistake to make. Maybe the phone had a bad signal when they were ordering.
It seems a bit like the Stonehenge performance. You see it right there: you wrote 18" tall. In fact, this whole administration is starting to Smell like the Glove.
By far the funniest thing I saw this morning. Some Trump supporters who were sued for committing acts of violence at a Trump rally are claiming the Trump campaign should pay any damages because they wouldn’t have done what they did if not for him urging them to do so.
