The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

So far as I have been able to determine, about half of the people who Trump worked with on his various building plans over the years are either felons or have been credibly accused of committing felonies. (It’s very tedious to research, but I’m slowly building a list.)

It’s safe to say that he has an eye for a certain type of person. The odds were pretty good.

I’ve got a problem with it because this plays into the mindset that Democrats think everything is racist.

We were right to say “Go back to where you came from” is racist. But I’m not so sure about this.

Individual-1 complains that he is being treated unfairly: they never investigated Obama, not even when Republicans had control of Congress, so, why am I being picked on?

When asked for specifics on Obama’s malfeasance, Individual-1 fumbles around for a bit before finally coming up with: he wrote a book.

Actually, I have some grudging respect for the orange one. I wouldn’t have expected him to have the mental agility to pivot so cleverly away from the real reason: he has read a book. Maybe even more than one!!!11!!1!

He’s probably upset about Obama’s “fake books” selling more copies than The Art of the Deal.

There’s a comment on the Amazon review page that The Art of the Deal is the only book the reviewer has seen with four Chapter 11s.

Who knew double digits could be so hard.

Trump’s family owns a winery. Trump wine has been described as tasting like Welch’s Grape Jelly with alcohol.

Should I just go ahead and assume that the Republicans will reverse course without shame when a Democratic president in the future takes advantages of any of the newly identified powers and precedents set by this president?

You mean if one is illegally elected, despite the clear majority of white thinking Americans? * Right* thinking Americans! Darn spellcheck!

Actually, this reminds me of a Steve Martin bit.

Waiter: Would you like red wine, or white?

Steve Martin: Ooh! You have colours? I’d like a beige wine.

I always have trouble deciding. I order the plaid.

But it pairs so well with Trump steaks.

All the gristle, half the meat! Best served Well Done after being dunked in cold ketchup."

My concern is that they are opening all this up because they know that there will not be another democrat in the white house once they have secured our elections from tampering by the citizens trying to vote.

Who the ever lovin’ fuck would buy steak on qvc?

40% of the country would probably be a safe estimate.

Yes. That fact is probably very comforting for the poor living in the rat-infested neighborhoods of Baltimore. Perhaps it should be added to the obituaries of those murdered every week so everyone will feel better.

Apart from the racist undertones, there’s something I thought was interesting about Trump’s attack on Cummings. Trump said Cummings should spend more time addressing the problems of people in his district. As the President, does Trump not realize that Baltimore is also part of his district?

I think it’s significant that the President could wash his hands of an entire American city, say that the problems of hundreds of thousands of Americans are no concern of his, an no one bats an eye.

Another one bites the dust. (Reuters)

I know a lot of people don’t put much stock into what Daily Kos publishes, but putting aside their partisan slant, they tend to rely on facts far more than any right wing “news” outlet. I find the assessment offered by the link below to be especially chilling:

There is a Strategy Behind Trump’s Madness, and It’s Already Much Later Than You Think. (Mark Sumner)

I find it difficult to refute a single word of Mr. Sumner’s opinion.
