The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Hey, at least you have elected a strong, decisive leader ! Not some limp-wristed namby-pamby like O-bummer. Remember when he was polite to the Saudi King ? Now that was some foreign policy disgrace, lemme tell ya !

One fun fact he absorbed somewhere:

They’d been champing at the bit ever since Hillary told them to stay out of Benghazi.

The alleged “Leader of the Free World” sent the following letter to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan:

FSM help us all…  :smack:

On the Nightmare-Fuel side, though, the US has shared PAL technology with (inter alia) Russia, so one might reasonably fear Russia having unlimited time to attempt to decrypt and/or reverse-engineer the codes. I mean, if one were a pansy worrywart who didn’t trust Orange Leader’s Great and Unmatched Wisdom implicitly.

Oh, shit; is this just me being a libtard who got owned? :smack:

Jesus Christ on a pogo stick.

Tell me that’s a parody.

You guys know that we didn’t abandon nuclear weapons in Syria, right?

They’re in Incirlik Air Force Base in Turkey, and have been for some while. The talk about getting them out is because Turkey has become/is becoming a less reliable partner.

If that letter is real then right now would be another good time (there’s lots of them anymore) to thank all of the shit for brains dipshit motherfuckers that voted for Trump for Potus. Yeah you.(anyone reading, you) Did you vote for Trump? You did? That makes you a shit for brains dipshit motherfucker. And your mother thought you’d never amount to anything!

For anyone not catching the names:
Pastor Brunson was imprisoned in Turkey, but Trump negotiated for his freedom.

General Mazloum is a top Kurdish general.

Trump’s a nightmare.

I would think the military has a plan for not leaving nuclear weapons lying around.
Are there still USA troops at these bases?
One way to deal with it would be the last guy out the door lights the fuses.

+1

That letter is the most moronic thing I have ever read from a major foreign leader. I’d like anyone to post anything more moronic and juvenile. I was surprised it didn’t have “yes” “no” and “maybe” boxes at the bottom.

Probably not in terrific taste to be bothering to rate them, but the best comment I’ve seen is:

Paywall so I can’t check (and not sure if it’ll make it into the print edition), but does anyone know if he really called the Italian President “Mozzarella” or was that just a terrible joke I saw on twitter?

I really hope one or more of our resident Trump apologists deigns to lean in here and explain precisely how that letter is not the demented ravings of a madman. That should be mightily entertaining.

If it’s real, of course.

Yes. The articles that Euphonious Polemic and I linked were very clear that the bombs were in Turkey. And they’re not yet abandoned, but it’s imperative that we need to get them out of there.

Maybe they could think up a quick lie:

there’s a light on this [bomb] that won’t light on one side. So I’m taking it home to my workshop, my dear. I’ll fix it up there, then I’ll bring it back here.

—T.S. Geisel (attrib.)

And in Trump’s fucking dumpster fire America, the question “Did we abandon 50 nuclear bombs in Turkey?” isn’t an off the wall question. Thanks again, Republicans.

Aw. c’mon, you know how it is. You’re loading up the car to go to the shore; you’ve got the folding chairs, the beach umbrella, cooler and ice, frisbee and sunscreen, and you’re halfway there when you realize you forgot your swimming trunks.

Yeah, I know they’re still under US guard, I’m just running with it.

Trump tweeted a photo of his meeting with Pelosi today, apparently taken just after Trump had called her a “third rate” politician, captioned: “Nervous Nancy’s unhinged meltdown!”

Nancy has now adopted that photo as her Twitter account background picture.

It’s a great visual!

Somebody please tell me that wasn’t sent as a piece of diplomatic correspondence…please, even if you’re lying, tell me that wasn’t the exact wording of a official message from the President of the United States…

I used to work for the US Army in the Middle East (UAE) and had to write letters expressing the US viewpoint to General Officers of the UAE and on occasion, help with letters that the UAE wanted to send to the USG. If I had ever written anything so juvenile I’d have been on the first plane out of Abu Dhabi, after the Ambassador and several UAE generals stopped carving chunks on my ass.

Hell, I don’t like Trump at all, but maybe they could hire me to write something that at least sounds official…

I still don’t believe it. Or perhaps don’t want to.
