This situation raises several questions for me.
First, if this Patel character isn’t on the NSC what is his actual position in the Administration?
Second, why was he allowed to misrepresent himself in this way to the President?
Third, who are these Presidential advisors who told Vindman not to attend the meeting?
Fourth, does this mean Devin fucking Nunes is now the Kremlin’s stooge in Congress since Dana Rohrbacher is gone? Was he the one telling Patel to do this and what to say to Trump?

Why should it come as a surprised that Melania has the emotional capacity of contact lens? Damned right she won’t cry for him. She sold herself into a loveless relationship just so she could spend the rest of her life staring vacuously into the distance, thinking about her closet. In the end, he’ll be dead of old age and insanity - because she hasn’t even got enough drive to have killed him in his sleep - and she’ll spend the rest of her life living in isolation and relative comfort.
I mean, Melania can count and realize that she’s just the 2nd in line of Communists-turned-Call-Girls that Donald has married. With a background like that, it’s highly likely she wouldn’t cry.

That’s not what’s surprising to me. I can easily accept her not crying about it. What’s surprising is that he knows it, brags about it, and believes that it’s normal and laudable for a wife to not cry over the death of her husbsnd.
On the other hand, supposedly she did cry on Election Night, because he won. (She knew that meant that she would be in the spotlight for at least four years as First Lady. Perhaps, too, she realized that she could not divorce him while he was president.)
One of the many things (too numerous to name) that FPT* doesn’t have the first clue about are normal human emotions, any of them.
