More Trump personal business being promoted with taxpayer dollars.
This has been one of my favorite threads, but it escalated quickly from “Point & Laugh” to “Duck & Cover”…
See, we’re not fully appreciating the political masterfulness of Trump. The US wants Kim out of power. Trump called Kim a “smart cookie”.
Now, Kim’s starving populace will be trying to eat him.
I think Pence’s primary qualification was that he was the only guy left after you eliminated everyone than ran against Trump in the primaries.
Bolding mine. You included 7/11 to show that Trump can accidentally be a “stopped clock”, right?
No… that would be “9/11”, the date of the terror attacks, not “7/11”, a chain of convenience stores.
WHOOSH!
Trump said “7/11” either because he couldn’t remember “9/11,” or because he once got a bad chicken salad sandwich at 7/11, and he will never forget it.
It’s the 7-11 in Bowling Green.
I count on Pence’s stodgy, worse-than-eating-yesterday’s-breakfast-oatmeal personality to keep us safe. He’s as batshit as Trump and scary as fuck, no argument, though in an entirely different way. Fortunately, he has the charm of a constipated walrus. Trump has some nutty allure to people I’ll never understand with his over-the-top Music Man routine, but Pence has none of that. He is not a natural leader, not a good bullshitter – although I’m giving that a re-think based on his calm lying over being “lied to” by Mike Flynn, since Pence headed up the vetting of Flynn and surely would have heard about the strong warning issued by Sally Yates.
If he ends up in the top spot, I expect him to try and pull some ghastly shit – but I don’t expect him to succeed. He’ll appeal to the Freedom Caucus. And few others.
You’ve got a point. Pence won’t appeal to the Trumpniks.
The Trump for President campaign created an ad talking about all of the wonderful things that Trump has done in his first 100 days, and CNN refused to air it. The Trump people called it censorship. CNN replied that the ad refers to the media as “fake news”, and since the media is not fake news, the ad violates CNN’s policy against running false advertising.
There was a terrorist attack in India on July 11, 2006. (Of course, I don’t expect Trump to be aware of that.) As Russell Peters put it, “The terrorist planning it probably said, 'Really. Let’s do the bombing on 7/11. The joke will write itself.” (Note: this is not a direct quote; it’s the best I remember.)
CNN.com: “Spicer ignores room full of reporters in WH”
“Where did Sean go? Really?”
“He said he’s not coming back.”
Look, I know you guys like to beat up on poor Spicy, but if he leaves for the private sector with his public speaking ability he’s going to end up living in a refrigerator box under an overpass, and we’ll have proto-Nazi and future pederast Steven Miller to cope with who isn’t going to be nearly as fun to fuck with. Give the Spiceman a break and #LetHimMisspeak.
Stranger
Except, for the attack to happen in India on 7/11, it would have to be in early November.
Trump keeps ratcheting up the crazy with his big, fat mouth, and his supporters just lap it up. Without a doubt, they and anyone else who voted for him for whatever reason are the lowest of the lowest classes, as mirrored by his fans on this Board.
Perhaps if you kiss him, he’ll turn into a handsome prince.

I didn’t write them, I just compiled some I saw elsewhere. But this one I just took as him thinking: “What day was that- something eleven. Oh, of course, seven-eleven. I used to get my burritos there. Sad!”
Is it a good thing or a bad thing that Trump announced his intention to “Do a Big Number” on big banks, which in a normal presidency would send the stock markets reeling, but in a Trump presidency, when no one believes a thing he says, Wall Street just yawned?
Anything he does do will be carefully crafted to avoid having any detrimental effect on Deutsche Bank, his personal moneylender of choice.
Maybe by “Big Banks” they meant former Giant and MSU linebacker Carl Banks.
