The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

And some of the scumbags that helped Reagan get away with this are now working hard on Trump’s behalf.

The First Amendment is whatever the courts say it is. And increasingly, as Trump gets to appoint more and more judges, the courts will be ruling somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun.

You? Never.

Donnie Junior went to Mongolia, shot an endangered animal, and then got a retroactive permit.

Individual 1 claims Lisa Page got a restraining order on Peter Strzok because he “heard it somewhere”.

Is there any reason Page couldn’t sue Trump for slander? I mean, there are laws against just making up derogatory shit about people…right?

No, not at all, you see, it was, um, what’s the … (consults with lawyer) “satire”, that’s what it was, “satire”.

this, however does not appear to be satire,

*… (Individual-ONE) was also shown a satellite image of the Korean peninsula … the bright lights of Seoul just 30 miles south of the demilitarized zone … the president asked: “Why is Seoul so close to the North Korean border?”

(Individual-ONE) had been repeatedly told that US freedom of action against North Korea was constrained by the fact that the regime’s artillery could demolish the South Korean capital in retaliation for any attack, inflicting mass casualties on its population of 25 million. “They have to move,” (Individual-ONE) said, according to Bergen, who adds that his officials were initially unsure if the president was joking. But (Individual-ONE) then repeated the line. “They have to move!”*

Maybe they could move to the flatlands of middle-USA. The Koreans would be further from the DMZ, the Midwest would get a ton of new jobs… win-win, no?

If they would just rake Seoul a little more, eh?

Re bold: Thanks.

<Whiny tone> Geography is so hard! You know, I’ve been told there’s a lot of *space *involved. Miles and acres and stuff. Complicated.

(Channeling Douglas Adams)
Countries are big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big they are. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road from Times Square to Central Park, but that’s just peanuts to countries.

Trump never pays a debt or gives back, so they’ll NEVER get that reach-around either.

But he promised that this time…

Is it me or does Trump sound increasingly like someone who’s suffering from serious cognitive decline? His speeches at his rallies have always had a certain stream of consciousness element to them, but he’s starting to slur - his “ideas” are colliding into each other like atoms.

No problem. They’ll pay someone to write the final exam for them.

You are so right. It’s hard to see how he can go from bad to worse, but that’s something Donnie excels at. Vox noted this:

Trump’s speech in Hershey revealed a presidency off the rails

Reagan and Trump both share the property that they were/are immune to scandal, but the way in which this immunity is manifested is entirely different to the point of being diametrically opposed. Reagan was the teflon president, Any mud that was thrown at him, just slid off, leaving him squeaky clean. Trump on the other hand is the mud monster president. Mud is his entire persona, so any mud that gets thrown at him has no effect except to possibly make him stronger.

Holy Cow! It boggles my mind that people can’t see that this dipshit of a moron is utterly unfit for office.

Well, you know, most of the people that can’t see this probably are unfit for office themselves…

Yeah, a lot of the people who voted for him are the kind who think that the world in The Handmaid’s Tale would be an utopia except for those uppity Handmaids that still haven’t learned their proper place.
